    I’m in Australia and when I do a tile job it’s always after the place has been around for 10+ years and chunks are missing from the grout. I get jealous of the places you get to do.

      I’m about to order equipment and was going to do my floor as my first job. I have a few places with grout missing, not major, but your comment caught my attention. Do you do any thing different when grout is broken or missing?

    • @panama_juan
      @panama_juan ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BUCKSHOTSTV I don't think it's any different but some of the grime in the deep areas of broken grout won't get as clean unless you've got a high pressure steam cleaner maybe. I'm still learning but I bought an 800 psi portable extractor with heat from Truck Mount Forums to be able to do carpet, upholstery and tile all with one machine. It comes with a 12 inch Turbo Hybrid spinner. I'll let you know how it goes with 800 psi as soon as I try it on my own tile haha. I might have to do a little more pre-scrubbing on the grout as well. If you're not a member of TMF it's free to sign up and there's a ton of industry knowledge in the forum.

      @@panama_juan hey! I actually bought a portable/truck mount from magic wand company with a diesel heater! I did my shower and my moms tile in her house last week with the tile spinner. Came out great! That was before my diesel heater came in, so I could just image how much easier it would’ve been to clean. I did my first official job this morning now that I got the diesel heater in. I did a two bed room rental home. The carpet wasn’t extremely dirty, but it did clean up the most walked on sections beautifully. The owner was ecstatic! The crazy thing is, yesterday I landed my first big contact with a hotel. I’m doing their lobby and hallways. I’ll be making almost a months worth of work in that one job! Im going to order another 100 feet of solution line, vacuum hoses, and possibly a zipper wand for that job. Im hoping to land two more big hotel jobs like that as the owner of the home from todays job is really good friends with two of the general managers from two other big hotels near me. I pray I land those as well. Crazy that I just got started this week and things are falling into place. I hope this continues so I can hire a few family members who are in desperate need of a job.

    I like all your videos, Tom. Have you tried low-pressure tile cleaning? I'm exploring ways to expand my carpet cleaning business. Like the Gekko wand, you have or the Stingray. I'm worried about causing damage while cleaning tile or wood.
    Is low-pressure floor cleaning safer than high-psi spinners? Thanks, Tom

    If you clean going into a room of tile and grout (carpet clean out) your hoses will not get dirty and smear dirt onto the walls or baseboard.

    • @greenrhinoproject

      Yes you can But it will take longer because psi is lower. Make sure you get a tile wand but not a spinner because you need at least 700 psi for those, Make sure chemestry is good and agitation.
