Rogue 3rd Brake Lite Replacement

My Nissan Rogue 2010's 3rd break light isn't coming up. But, I want to check the fuse before I change the entire light. Do you know where is the fuse for the 3rd break light is located and how it is marked?

Ruth Less Fuse box is on drivers side down low near foot rest. The stoplight or rear brake light should be a 15amp fuse. I believe it is #1. I don’t have the vehicle in my possession anymore so I can’t verify. Good luck!

Richard Noyes: Thanks for the reply. I found a fuse near the driver’s side foot rest that says “STOP LAMP”, but it is only 10A.

Ok, I believe that is the one, the stop lights should be tied into the 3rd brake light system. You can pull that and see if it is burnt or the metal is blown apart. Although, if your regular brake lights are working I would suspect the fuse is ok.

Where did you buy your third brake light assembly? I'm not finding any at the local parts stores or rockauto.

I had the same issues and ended up ordering from the local Nissan dealer. I believe the assembly was around $130 at the time.

I was thinking that their were bulbs you can replace with led's guess not.

T. Dee you would think Nissan would have made it that easy. Nope, they make you replace the whole piece

Sean - My model did not have a spoiler.
