    The most important review on ALL power station is the Battery Capacity test. Because the Chinese often use recycled/wasted batteries in their products to lessesn the cost and price.

    • @4wdadventuremalaysia

      Hi Nicole, thanks for the comment. The power station is as good as ever. I used a fan that is rated 160W to test. The power station is 600Wh, and lasted about 3 hours and 45 minutes. This is as expected. We have no regrets buying the unit. It's small, powerful, and fits almost anywhere. Beats carrying my two car batteries which are heavy and takes up a lot of space. Plus combined, they only come up to 140Ah. Being lead acid batteries, we could only use half of that capacity without damaging the batteries. The Vanpa allows you to use about 80% capacity before cutting off.
      Hope the above helps.
      Happy holidays!

    Hi, I live in a country with 12h avg power outage a day.
    What would you recommend me?

    Great review on the Vanpa power station👍👍

    • @4wdadventuremalaysia
      @4wdadventuremalaysia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, glad to hear from you. Wow, 12 hrs of power outage per day? You do need a power station.
      From what you have shared, a 300W power station won’t suite your needs. An average home refrigerator uses between about 100 and 400 watts, although there are exceptions that use more than 400W. You can check your power rating at the back of your fridge.
      A DC fridge uses between 45 to 65 watts of power.
      Rice cookers use an average of between 400 to 500 watts. Mini rice cookers use between 100 to 200 watts. Again, check the power ratings.
      Vanpa runs its DC on Modified Sine Wave. Unless your equipment specifically asks for Pure Sine Wave, there should be no problems.
      You will need a power station with 1000w of power and a high battery capacity. The Vanpa 1,000W 300,000mAh Portable Power Station would be a great choice if you are on a budget.
      You can get it here:
      invol.co/clabflb
      But if you want a higher battery capacity and have the cash to spare, then I would recommend the BLUETTI EB240 2400Wh/1000W Portable Power Station. 2,400 Wh will keep your equipment running for a long while before the next recharging.
      Check it out here:
      www.bluetti.sg/products/bluetti-eb240-2400wh-1000w-portable-power-station?aff=12

      We have done a video on the Dokio 100w foldable solar panel. You might want to take a look at that. Easy to move around to catch the most sunlight throughout the day. But if you get good sunlight and want to fix a panel or two on your roof, you can find recommendations on our site, in the link I gave earlier.

      Ok, before we start getting too technical, let me clarify what this channel is about. 4WD Adventure Malaysia, as the name suggests, is about our off road and camping adventures in Malaysia. From time to time, we may come across helpful products that we have purchased and think others would also benefit from them. We are not solely a review site and our reviews provide only information that we feel is important and have impressed us.
      But we did do a test, running a 160W stand fan on the Vanpa 300W power station. This was merely to confirm our results with the supplier that the unit was working according to specifications. It took 3 hours and 17 minutes to discharge up to 10%. The supplier confirmed that our results were up to expectations. We were also happy with the results we got from this very low-priced power station.
      Hope this helps.

    hihi thank you for your review, is it safe to leave the power station in the hot car ?

    • @4wdadventuremalaysia
      @4wdadventuremalaysia  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, you did not state how long you are leaving it in the hot car. Batteries are degraded when left in direct sun for long periods of time. If you have to leave the power station in the car for a few hours, try keeping it in the booth where it is cooler.
      If you are talking about leaving it in the car on your trips while you have lunch or are getting something from the store, keep it away from direct sunlight. Under the seat would be good, or cover it with a cloth or something. This also keeps it away from prying eyes and the temptation of theft.
      Preferably, take it out of the car. The unit is small and easy to carry around.
      Hope this helps.
