Things WILL get better. The person you were with at that time really was an awful person. You weren't being paranoid. You were right to feel those things you felt. I understand why you didnt just cut him off, you were still so.. soft. So naive. In time, you will get stronger, and will be able to achieve things you NEVER imagined you could. You will surprise yourself with what you can do. You WILL be fine even if the person you think you love leaves you for someone else. Dont be afraid to let go of people, especially if they don't even see your worth. You are worth way more than how awful people treat you.
