This is the wooden cased version from the TM-62 mine series. Designed for fast emergency wartime production from factories and also wood working workshops. These are/were being produced in Ukraine since the beginning of the invasion.

I can imagine those are slightly more difficult to metal detect too (nails/ screws/ fasteners aside). We both know the Antifcucks ARE that stupid lol!! Good stuff brother.

Fascinating how they used pegs and cuts instead of nails to make it nonmetallic. This device would be buried too right?

    "You can manufacture a display"
Yeaaaah.... in theory. The authorities might not like it and let you know though.
That happened to a retired EOD friend who made a mockup of a "rollerminen" based on the metallic and empty casing of a Teller Mine and wood. You can still find some part of the video that didnt need censoring here on TH-cam..
The rollerminen was essentially a teller mine with two hemispheres of concrete (to make it round). In some places on the Atlantic wall concrete gutters were made from the trenches bordering the cliffs to the edge of the cliff. Insert a fuze, light the fuse and let the mine roll and fall on whoever is at the bottom of the cliff.

Now I've got to watch the video on the fuse. Would they have stockpiled fuses? Did they use the fuse for any industrial purpose?

My guess is there were stockpiles of fuses in the storage tunnels. Ukraine had massive tunnels filled with ordnance and equipment put there during the Soviet era.

@@SecurityGuy42 So that means there's a lot of fuses still around? Since those types of mines are a real a piece of work can we assume they are not abundant?

      @@pamagujar183 Wouldn't count on that.
