I'm glad Rip-it Fence actually listened. I emailed them a while back asking if they could make their touch screen dark mode (this model had a white screen a few months ago) as I personally have extreme difficulty reading white screens. I'm legally blind so that's the reason why. Using a table saw fence is an absolute nightmare. I'm still relatively new in woodworking and have many decades ahead of me to refine my abilities and I hope to one day get my hands on one of them. At a bit over $1500 msrp, it's something out of my price range currently but I'm glad to know that it'll work for me when I do eventually get one.
Oh, Rip-It, if you read this comment, can you please add a method to attach the Jessem Stock Guides to your fence? I did email you guys about that and i was informed that the top of the fence is aluminum. Thus, you can't use the mag-switch method of attaching them which is my prefered method as it makes quick removal for jigs much easier if necessary. Plus, many aren't comfortable drilling holes into their fence.

I have been wanting to build a fence like that for myself... Pretty sure I don't want to pay for that one. It will cost more than my saw.
It needs a few things though for manual use.
It needs physical buttons for commonly performed actions. Nudge the cut a little deeper or less so by .005 per press. Buttons to cut dados. One that moves the right distance to make the second cut at the board width, and then incremental cuts through the center by a blade width.
    A button for metric/inch toggle.

So… who’s going to break it to the crown moulding guy that Kreg made that jig a long time ago? Been using it for years.

@@daveklein2826 You do realize that saying can be used to say a product is superfluous and also used to point out an issue that you never knew you had that is valid, right? Meaning that I could be using either meaning and by you assuming the one I'm intending, you're actually projecting your own sub-conscious thoughts, right?

I'd like to know how sensitive the auto-fence is. With my T-fence I can just gently tap to sneak up, and we are talking two hair-lengths at a time, so how sensitive is that fence? Can it move 1/128 or 1/256? I'll have to check out there page. If I can't micro adjust, then it seems like a professional, cabinet shop kind of tool only. That's fine, and it would work well in mass production/industrial level stuff, where you are just needing nice, clean numbers, but for fine woodworking you have to have that "light tap" level of adjustment.
Looks like it is $1,300. That is definitely pro-cabinet shop level pricing. Oh well. It still looks super cool.

the fence is a cool idea. a little expensive and it should really have a large t-square base to make it rigid. it just looks like itd be super flimsy. i dont wanna pay $1200 for a harbor freight quality fence.

Looks good, but the plastic gear definitely needs to be metal

The first 4 are very usable and innovative. I would love to see how repeatable the RipIt is in a shop environment.

I saw it on the jointer add, As morbid as some might see it, building your own casket would save your family one more decision and hassle. 5300 isn’t bad for that machine. I’m about to tackle some plantation shutters and that would sure be faster than domino

That fence may demo well but I doubt it would last 5 minutes in a busy shop, wire hanging off it, fragile touch screen, it would probably end up being more of an annoyance once the novelty wears off, it if actually lasts that long.
