Excellent work. At last!! A how-to video with audible dialogue, decent camera work (positioning, close ups, focus) and thorough.Thank you.

Great video it’s always good to have a little tech time. Basically the same procedure for all front axle swaps so folks can learn from watching. Great job thanks for sharing.👍👍

There’s not any good vids on TH-cam on how to change an axle on the YXZ which is why we made this vid.

Great work guys, can't wait to see the rack get replaced, I was thinking about installing a Weller in mine.

Ryan Bieberich sorry bud but we didn’t do a vid on the rack. It’s very simple and took us about an hour to do and that’s including the tie rods and alignment. Pretty sure there is several vids already up on how to do that.

I unbolt the lower control arm from the frame and flip everything up out of the way takes about 15 mins to change a front axle

Yeah I agree and meant to mention that in the video but Tommy started mentioning worn out break pads and loose ball joints and I forgot about it. I’ve broken axle shafts in the past that was close to the wheel and the axle was seized in the wheel so had to take apart everything.

Just reread ur comment and I have to say never thought about removing the control arm from the frame. Under normal circumstances I’ve usually just disconnected the lower ball joint. Learn something everyday..lol

TCB Offroad did you have to trim any on your wheel studs?

Dewayn Heltibrand no sir they are just short of the outside of the spacers.
