- We waited so long to get this organised with Phil the builder of this built not bought creation of a Ford F100 Pick up with a full Nissan 370Z running gear pushing a nice 350BHP to the rear wheels.
This video is not to be missed, especially if you have. a true appreciation of craftsmanship.

I’ve seen every video on MA and this is my favourite, partly because of the unassuming horse dentist building it. He reminds me of my dyslexic brother the builds the most amazing retro motorcross bikes without ever being taught, just learnt. Fantastic content Owen, you’re grin and enthusiasm for these sorts of builds is intoxicating.

Like a lot of the cars on the channel, not everyone has a background in building cars, they have all learnt from TH-cam or other ways
Just start on a project and the skills follow man , you can do it
This is becoming one of the best TH-cam car channels! Such a variety of cars 😎 with down to earth people ! There are to many others with “certi” twat drivers racing stage 1,2,3,4 plus “gapping each other “ 🙄 😂 this is pure car builds
We do try to find the odd ones that people have built, let’s hope they don’t run out

Did you ask the guy why the bonnet vents are letting air in (facing the front) as opposed to letting hot air out (facing the back)? Not sure I've seen that before...

Really like the wheels, they suit the overall truck with the diffuser and the wing. What make/model are they? Really cool build.
Believe the wheels are standard 370Z wheels but I’m sure Phil will confirm

I LOVE the truck! However, I'm not a fan of the apocalyptic/weathered/rusted patina look. It's such a shame. This would be an awesome truck if painted etc or wrapped. But, having said that, it's amazing

Loads of room
It needs a longer shifter. I have two pickup trucks with manual transmissions and a 350z. The seating position in a pickup truck requires a long shifter. It will make the throw longer and you can make more precise shifts because it slows you down. It will feel good once you make that change. You don't want to be looking down to shift gears either. I wish my BBC truck and my 1UZ truck had a CD009 in there.

@@leedavies6166 we do try as that’s what really gets us going, is people building stuff in a shed and garage, with little or no experience
so much thought gone into the truck then 2 "cold" air intakes with open filters in a hot engine bay, wrapped in gold reflective tape is just such an oxymoron

Need to address that rear suspension with some proper spring rates and then gaz shocks to stop it being so bouncy and skittish
All the spring rates are set for road use to absorb the bumps and give a better road feel day to day , it gets stiffened up for track days with the avo adjustable shocks , cheers man
