There's something very comical about the menacing visage of death getting brutally ragdolled around by mortal hands. Poetic in a way, and fitting for the game.
If you use two bloody knuckle rings you can get a 4x damage bonus to your bow attacks, but you can't have a sword equipped. If I remember correctly, the force hatchet only doubles your damage and only after you've gotten 10 hits off with it.
this information is wrong unless you have some kind of mod installed, it does not boost damage to any secondary weapon except for shield, making 2x bloody knuckles + gloves that boost normal and magick shields damage the best for unarmed and shield combat (zero effect on bows/longbows/staves)
Damn, wish I could've seen your character's Stats and the Strength you had to pull it off. I always play with Pawns because it's a comfort to have them around, but I think im gonna play as assassin and try this type of playstyle.
@@NarutorsAssassin you're correct. Takes half the blast arrows with Assassin (& half the encumberance, & less Stamina) because each arrow is twice as strong. Better for casual Death farming runs than lugging 100 Blast Arrows to do the same thing with a Ranger
@Transistor Revolt Paintball my stats weren't that high offensively. This is a balanced minmaxing build. When I get back to 149 in my walkthrough series I'll have identical stats
They honestly should have put a diminishing return on cc. They already had a stagger bar you had to break to stagger. For bosses it should have been harder after each one so you couldn’t just cheese it like this.
i don’t mean this as a flex at all because it left me disappointed but i heard so much about how hard death was before bbi and went to him at the start of my ng+ run. i didn’t even get a spell of before my pawns wombo combod him to death 😔
Thanks To answer your question: it wouldn't make much difference That's what the Force Hatchet is doing, doubling the damage Ranger would still do more due to Revenant Wail having slightly higher power than Darkening Storm, but not much The real outcome is that Strider does around 90% of the damage using 50% of the blast arrows & carry weight
I knew it the moment I saw the Blast Arrows, still, full health wipe on Death? Must be a solo Assassin with two other strength stats from Fighter and Warrior alongside their own.
It's actually a completely balanced build with 22 levels in every vocation, 23 in MA I never recommend minmaxing for any stat except Stamina on Ranger, Magick Attack on MK, or Magick Defense on everything else
Death doesn't regenerate it's health after every encounter, just deal damage to it and at some point you gonna kill it. Buy a lot of damage boosting items and have a ranger in your party with blast arrows.
Game never updates. You're probably missing the stunlock timing or knockdown threshold, & he automatically escapes when this occurs after taking a bar or so of damage
They're Blast Arrows all, You can't go wrong.
Masterful
This is what a master Caxton will say...
LOL

He shouldn't have fucked around
"Strength in numbers arisen!" "Numbers of blast arrows, you can go wrong"
The fact that the Force Hatchet buff affects bows is so utterly broken it's hilarious
I've put over 800 hours into Dark Arisen and have never cheated Death, thanks for the Intel !!! "Tis a barber shop..."
Simon Belmont would be proud
Blast arrows and periapts. I thought it might have been something I didn’t know about, but yeah, even more effect with tenfold arrows.
(& Force Hatchet)
To bad you can't use force hatchet as a ranger
Death: wait that’s illegal!

Does this work for archers too
@@renown35nuke70 yes, all non magical second weapon works with bloody knuckles

Got handed the uno reverse card💀
"I am Death, incarnation of your en- AH ?! OoOoH WTF STOP WITH THAT?!!"
My very first thought upon seeing the title was "is it blast arrows and fivefold flurry?"
Swords feel really clunky but I suppose their damage output is technically higher than daggers even without this broken weapon lol
Hell yeah duder! I'm not that far in the game yet but I'm gonna remember that shit! Thanks for sharing. 👍😎

Blast arrows and conquerors periapts. Btw ranger with tenfold is even faster
@@AT-gh9js But with Ranger you don't have the force hatchet, so a lot less damage
@@NarutorsAssassin 4 conquerors periapts, blast arrows, and tenfold arrows don’t need forced hatchet

"So anyway, I started blasting!"
I know its some days ago ;D BUT Is Fivefold Flurry better then the tenfold arrows from the longbow?
Coming from assassin it's more efficient but risky due to needing to stack Force Hatchet
Tenfold is more reliable but eats thru Blast arrows
@@SquirrelGamingProductions Yeah, that was my Point. So many Arrows to carry ;D But I finally did it. Thanks :)
Ahh, but did you sacrifice Rook to the brine at the start of the playthrough for good luck...

Death! You absolutely are a thing.

death is like super strong for me i almost never killed it either he vanished / disappears before i get to kill it or I died trying to kill it
I'm late but death doesn't gain back his life points you took from him if I remember correctly.
Death doesn't regenerate it's health after every encounter, just deal damage to it and at some point you gonna kill it.
Buy a lot of damage boosting items and have a ranger in your party with blast arrows.
Did this on my ps3 file years ago when I was farming Demon
I always hated to encounter death
I don't think this is working anymore. I'm trying to kill him in the sewers, but he just banishes.

Cheat death nothing you kicked it’s ass.
