Game looks cool despite the promo sounding and looking like an Olive Garden commercial from 2004.
When I heard JJP was making a Toy Story I was all in, would have been our first JJP machines for our locations without question... my heart sank when I heard it was Toy Story 4... I didn't even remember there was a 4th movie until this morning... Toy Story 1-3 were classics... why? why would you do this? either way I will wait and see how it goes, maybe if you guys show up to IAAPA this year I will try it out and decide

A pinball based on ALL the Toy Story movies would’ve been better, you could’ve decorated the playfield with Al’s Toy Barn or Sid’s creepy toys, the claw from Pizza Planet could grab the ball, I want to fight against Zerg, Stinky Pete, and the Lots-O-Huggin’ bear, there’s so much potential here…why focus only on Toy Story 4? I was really hoping to get wowed again.

No on-location (arcades) will pay $12k to have it (much less $15k). They will need at least 12k plays before they ever see a return and that doesn’t even include maintenance costs.

The cabinet art is a boring movie poster. Disney probably didn't allow JJP to have original art done.
Toy Story is about Andy’s toys in Andy’s room. Woody. Buzz. Slinky. Mr. Potato Head. Hamm. Rex. Jessie. Army men. The Aliens. And the Claw.
I love many of Lawlor's classic Pinball Machines, but he is getting old and lacking innovation.
Younger designers like Keith Elwin are being more creative.
I don't think I would even play this machine on location.
A big pass for me.
On the positive note, there are several other great pins out there to play and own.
Never saw it. Only the first three. If I want a carnival I'll take Oktoberfest, Cyclone or Hurricane.

@davidb.8948 It is a fine playing machine and flows as slick as butter. Oktoberfest looks like a Steve Richie layout but does not have any flow. It is a Shooter's machine. That said, the theme toy story 4 absolutely blows. They took the weakest of the trilogy, oh wait, the fourth one that Disney tacked on and glued a tablet to it. If jjp was hamstrung by Disney to stick with the fourth movie that most people have not seen they should have just rethemed to the table as it is a good one. But Toy Story 4 ? Give me a break.

Attention everyone! This video does not do this game justice in the least bit. I gotta knock the team behind this video down for missing the boat on properly presenting the fun of this game. But I will lift the jersey jack team up by saying that this game is a homerun hit out of the park and an absolutely amazing game 👏

Gotta agree with you. I was like "huh?" when i saw this announcement, but after getting my hands on one I have to say it is super fun and addicting. Spent most of my quarters going back and forth from this and Godzilla.
Dang they really messed up making the theme toy story 4 out of all the movies 4 was the less favorite, should have been a Toy Story Theme period.. feels more like a theme park game and not a true toy story theme... what a miss..

You sir win the fool of the month award because this game is amazing. You gotta play it before making these calls. This video did it no justice. As a regular player, I enjoy the heck out of it.
This feels like a fail. Instead of focusing on the entire series, they focus the theme on the worst received film of the series. People wanted Andy, they wanted Buzz and Woody, they wanted Hamm and Rex, the Toy Soldiers, RC, Emperor Zerg, Jessie, Bullseye, the Pizza Planet Aliens!! Nobody wanted a pin based solely around this film.

Sadly this is always a problem with pinball licenses. I wanted all the footage and callouts from the movies on Avengers: Infinity Quest and just got some still comic art and generic voices. I wish IPs would be a little bit more forgiving when it comes to licensing for pinball.
@@danarmstrong4498 Infinity Quest is not based on the MCU at all, it is a Marvel COMICS themed pinball machine. Infinity War was trash anyway, and the way Marvel did the comics was WAAAAY better.
@@Sprikers Its not based on the MCU at all because of licensing reasons, just like JJP decided to do Toy Story 4 rather than Toy Story 1-3, and Gottlieb went with Raven over Rambo. I agree that the Infinity War comics were great but you are crazy to say the Infinity War movies were trash. Avengers Infinity War and Endgame were some of the best cinematic experiences i've ever experienced.

WoW so disappointed by the reveal, it looks like a mix between DI and GnR… TS4 CE cabinet is GnR LE red one, screen idea is from DI (pat lawlor here again), spinner like in GnR, RGB side rail like GnR…. I mean come on WTF ????!!! Is this serious ??? What a big joke and fail !

I'm sure it will play decent enough, but they REALLY dropped the ball by only basing it on the 4th film. There is so much great material they could have used from the original movies. P.S. JJP had better got their awful playfield issues fixed!

Not sure what you are looking at. It's not barren at all... Just comparing even other JJPs, tell me how Toy Story has less than Wonka or The Hobbit. Don't even get me started on Stern...Stranger Things, Zeppelin, Game of Thrones, etc have far less than this machine.
@@clearstar8354 Hobbit is probably the most barren playfield of all time. Literally nothing to shoot expect the ramps, captive ball, drops and stand ups, all which either start at literally the back of the playfield, or close to it. That game is atrocious and is a literal waste of space. The guards that pop up from under the playfield is a weak attempt to actually put something to shoot for closer in. Zeppelin is also atrocious. It might be Steve’s worst game ever. Zero satisfying shots and the flow is mediocre at best, if you can even get it going, which is a task in and of itself on that game. WOZ, while being an average game, at least has a ton of mechs, two different playfields and different unique shots that are challenging and engaging, to a degree. This looks like a seriously lazy attempt that rips off elements of No Good Gofers. It’s also just based on the fourth movie alone?? That is probably the biggest fail of all time. Everyone thought it was going to be just a “Toy Story” pin, which I would be down for, but to base it off just the fourth movie is ridiculous.
