The lat tape, Sinclair's final tape, in the room with his dead body and his id tag. It's kinda symbolic: the guy who did basically all he could to escape, dead near the vent you use in the game to literally escape
He was selfish. He should have keep his alliance with the Marshals and protect people. Instead he and his men stole Sebastopol’s food and weaponry leading to most survivors becoming hostile to each other.
I love the fact that the station is so big not a lot of the crew members know about the xenomopth existence they just heard something is picking everyone off one by one which results in panic
I think that's such a genius aspect. In many horrors, it's about a confined place of isolation such as The Thing. It also leaves less mystery and also different suspense. Here you get to observe the paranoia and slowly evolving politics of prior and during the alien event.

9:02 "...and i'm going to kick some ass. So when he starts kicking your ass....well, it's coming from me!" I don't if it's the line only of maybe even the skill of the dubber...but that line is simply awesome :D.
The last tape from Sinclair is so well-acted, it starts out by him sounding remorseful and very somber. you can hear it in his voice, he's given up by this point. Then once he turns his attention to Seegson or whomever might be listening; he's furious, he'd burn down the entire station for a chance to kill the alien. "You fucked it." ahh it's so good. I haven't played this game in years but this 40s voice message from a dead man is etched onto my brain.
That last audio log really got to me, my eyes were absolutely glazed over for the majority of the audio logs but that last one really shook me out of it. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽bravo to the development team 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽they have created a master piece👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Fun fact , you can hear Hughes cat forgot where exactly but you can hear it call out and then it makes a sound as if it runs or dies quickly followed by a alien hiss/growl
For some of the audio logs they're hard to hear cause the music...suggestion maybe just turn the music off so it's easier to hear...other than that great vid

That‘s such a cool idea, like living in a small town with a serial killer on the loose and no one knows who’s next

Audio logs are one of my favorite things to find in horror games.
The last audio tape mentions the Marines still existing in this universe. I'm glad they're still canon in this world
This takes place after the first movie but before the second.
i hope you aren't talking about aliens: colonial marines.
@@connor2015 ha!
i love the fact they can still keep a strong canon even though the games, AFE kicked the lore to the atmosphere, they retconned so hard with it.
Pretty sure the Marines were always Canon.
Alien: Isolation's audio logs have to be one of the best I've ever seen in a horror game. Way to be faithful to the original movie.

Thank you for uploading these audio logs when nobody else wanted to. They give so much background and color to the story.

This game, along with Soma, really knocks it out of the park. It's so amazing that we're still talking about a 2014 game like this.
I always love listening to the audio logs, I just find them so interesting

The story of the alien coming to Sevastopol could be a game by itself
2:49 and 3:22 love these ones for some reason
I had been dying to hear Audio Log 19, with Hughes leaving a message for his wife, and couldn't find the physical video for it until now, thank you!
Fun fact , you can hear Hughes cat forgot where exactly but you can hear it call out and then it makes a sound as if it runs or dies quickly followed by a alien hiss/growl
Thanks for this!!
Can't hear it properly

I still didn't find 3 of them
Next time record them at a volume people can actually hear.
