What is so great about mhok is that he doesnt see Day's disability as a weakness. He still treats day as if he would anyone else and thats important to someone who just recently lost most of his sight. He already seemed to be struggling (not leaving the room much less the house even though he has(most likely) lived there his entire life so he should know the layout of it. Instead of mhok catering to what he was told to do by mom when she was giving him a tour, he pushed Day to do things he wasnt doing with others which made him feel more human.
