Galveston living is all about how you make it and the people you associate with. Spending a little time searching for a rental, there are a lot of hidden gems here. Tourism is becoming hectic and it's needing more regulat
My dad is Houston raised but he travels all over for work. He told me nothing is like TX (including NY & Cali). I’ll prob never leave even tho it’s hot as 🔥 I’m in banking (live in Conroe) but alll the jobs are in H-town but that’s just not meee but I want more $. I have one more year in Conroe and after that it’s San Antonio or Galveston. I’m not a homeowner but Galveston is my dream I’m so at peace there. It’s just me and my shitzu. I like you already and I’ve been subbed I always support TX women. I love Kemah too but Galveston has my whole heart Omg. I’m single and not rich, not a homeowner … am I dreaming??
Love living in Galveston huge problem with rentals. Also mold and mildew is bad very bad. The homeless people pretty much took over makes the place look run down. But they are harmless beggars and heavy drugs.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting. It is true there aren't a lot of rentals and the homeless is an issue throughout the US. Mold and mildew is common on any coast. I think the good out weighs the bad, tho. 🙂
It seems like you have to be either filthy rich or dirt poor to live in galveston.i haven't lived there since 2002 and it's probably changed some.i lived by the Menard park area on 31st and r 1/2 and back then it was drug infested with prostitutes and gangs.ill be visiting Galveston this summer and I can't wait cause Galveston Texas will always be my 2nd home I might eventually move back again for a little while after checking it out on vacation this summer.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting. As with any town, its not going to be perfect. I do love Galveston. Take a look around at homes for sale on my website www.gulfcoastdreamhomes.net
Ever since my parents moved down there they've gotten weird. Too much alcohol and sun. Y'all crazy down there. Don't wander too far off the strand, you'll get robbed.
@@ShariLovesGalvestonBay yes for the super rich, but in general, there’s too much transient people asking for money, and crime. And you have to pay to park everywhere that used to be free.

I totally understand, bugs can be a real nuisance! They are here to stay. Thanks for watching and commenting.
