What about tornadoes? That’s my biggest fear about moving to Texas. Are hurricanes the biggest weather issue?

Hi there, thank you for the question...I think it's a great one. Tornadoes are not nearly as prevalent as hurricanes in our area. We have seem them but nothing major. When you're looking at Spring, TX (or anywhere on the north side of downtown Houston), you are a bit further from the coast so the storm impact can be a bit less. However, pretty much anywhere around the area, you have to be made aware of flooding potential due to increased rain during storm events. I can help with directing you using flood maps and trying to avoid designated high risk flood zones. Hurricane Harvey in 2017 was a major hurricane event which dropped 51 inches of rain in about 48 hours and that is what caused such widespread flooding. I am happy to assist with all the necessary information for you to gather so that you can make the best, informed decision for you and your family. You're welcome to call, text or email me for more information. All of my info is located in the video descriptions of all my videos.

@MrSpeed-do2zk I completely understand. The north side, in areas like Klein, Tomball, The Woodlands & Conroe have always been very safe. I think you would find what you’re looking for and I would love to talk in greater detail
