Great routine and demo of skills and techniques! Just hope others watching realise that in a club you'd probably want to let more of your tracks play out. It's very different getting lost in the music in a club compared to watching a video (or djing for that matter). Let people rave, first and foremost, and then add some flourish
very true. you get to have more fun in a club as a dj too. letting your tracks play out more in longer stints gives you time to dance yourself and have fun with the crowd
He blends the tracks so smoothly. What’s even more amazing, is when you notice at 11:15 , tracks are nowhere in the same key, which makes it an even better effort!
I’m really missing fx on my at home mixer lol I have a xone23 and it sounds amazing but having only a filter is a bit limiting. However this forces name to just do solid transition to transition so I’ve gotten better at mixing in general either way so when I do add fx my timing has improved a lot
Teach me dude,I'll give you every penny I own. I don't want to play in clubs but to play like this to myself would be soul completing. You are a master and I'm a huge fan. I've only got xdj 1000's mk2's,a djm 250 MK2 and an RMX 500 but watching you makes me want to master it,I'm never going to be as good as you dude, but watching you and the guys, lift my spirits. Proper talent, you don't have to be like James hype to do this, make it simple and beautiful, your a god on the dancefloor. Please please help me!
I germany I would say "Ich verstehe nur Bahnhof" :D I just started to Dj a little bit and every time i learn something new. I only got a DDJ FlX 4 but I hink that is enough for me at least for now. Can you guys recommend some videos where I Get into setting up the best effects on the pads and these kind of stuff? I would appreciate your time and answer :)
Could anyone explain why you would use the pitch fader to match the bpm’s instead of just using sync? Your not beat matching so why even bother? I hate having to fidget with the decimal places especially myself, drives me mad. If your actually beat matching (on CDJs for some reason) then yeah I get it, but otherwise is there an advantage to manually setting the correct bpm with the fader I’m missing?
Realize that when you ride those two tracks with both mids and highs on both tracks at noon you are squashing the dynamics of both tracks and leaving neither of them any room to breathe. It becomes a wall of sound with everything competing against everything else for a small space in that stereo field. Work with those eqs more subltlely and gives each track some space to stand and allow them to move with each other. You are focused way too much on cool effects to make up for the tracks don't have a lot to them. Just because they're 150+bpm doesn't make them cool or somehow really great tracks. If they weren't filler-track material, then they wouldn't need to many effects and "tricks". You spent a lot of money to use a bpm counter.
My guess is that he is educating different techniques you can use for mixing / transitioning tracks. In a club situation you would definitely let more of the tracks play out
How can I find techno music to mix to? I was thinking of a subscription to SonicAcademy but I don’t think this is what I’m looking for as this is more music production oriented rather than mixing
Bro you can do similar things with any controller or look out for a place that rents studios in Belgium we can go practice on cdj3000 for like 3euro an hour

I love the editing! That takes effort and you don’t have to do it. It really adds a lot of value. 👍
Really glad you found value dude!
Got some great ideas out of that. Than you.
This was great and the editing was very much appreciated.

Not a club person and even I realize TH-cam is different than a techno club. The video would be three hours long. LOL

It’s hard techno, there isn’t anything melodic going on in the 12A track on the left so no real issues
@@jhm8614 yep hard techno is pretty forgiving when it comes to key haha
This was so helpful to me. As a Hard Techno dj/producer I can still learn from the greats!
Happy you enjoyed it dude
Vinyl stop transition at 9:03 made me fall out of my chair
😍
Was looking for a comment like this. Those are some crazy mixing skills, holy damn. Awesome!!
I screamed lmao😱
Babe wake up, educational Hard Techno just dropped and it’s heat🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Obviously everyone needs to think exactly like you.
More of this please, Thank you! This is awesome!
I love you guys' hard techno mixes.

Amazingly well presented mixing techniques and terrible track choices. Love it!
I really liked it, thank you, and of course I will be glad to meet new people.

Get a guitar pedal for fx i am rocking the source audio collider reverb + delay with my xone96, its so much fun!
Maybe buy a pioneer rmx1000 or 500. And if your mixer doesn’t have send/return you can just go over the master output.
This was what i was looking for, thank you so much. Currently learning so much from your channel. Thank you!
LISTENING FROM SOUTH AFRICA SOWETO
Good! Super good
Super helpful.
I’m about to watch this over and over 🔥
Really helpful, so many tutorials for transitions are based around tech house or house, and don't crossover to harder styles of genre, great tunes too
Well played
More of this please !
Great music selection and you kept the momentum of your set really well😁
Fantastic. That’s all I can say, absolutely FANTASTIC👏👏💙
Nice one! Would love to see more Hard Techno stuff on your channel. Keep it up!
How do you align the tracks so perfectly that the moment the drops come are 100% in sync and not off by a single beat??
Amazing tutorial and track selection ❤️❤️🤍
Shlaps good 🤟keep it coming👍
I don’t understand how you beatmatch on this ! But you are amazing
You don’t. The computer tells you what BPM to set the track to so you don’t have to do it manually.
Most DJs do it by ear sod all that auto bullshit

Wow this is awesome❤ Do you have a playlist so I can follow along in the transcripts 😂
More of these please❤
Thank you so much for this
Another sick video!

Same question i use sync coz if later on i wanna increase both songs bpms its just easier

nice but:
loop for intro
loop for outro
a lot of effects
play 2 max 3 minutes of 6/7 minutes tracks
why?
