- "Alley Cat" ... Well, actually, this is more of a sophisticated cat, like our cats, being raised on organ music. Thought I'd play it now, on another 80-degree day, just for the heck of it. As you should already know, it's a popular instrumental song made famous by the Danish pianist and composer Bent Fabric, and recorded by him at the keys in 1962. Just a quick Saturday arrangement while you wait... then off to more stuff to do. You know, granddaughters and their folks coming for dinner. Lenny Dee did this one, too, of course. So a nod to the master once again. "Life is Good" on 5/14/2022. Weekends rule. 😎🌴🎹

You often make the gracious attempt of covering other compositions from historical works to contemporary artists, even some Rock and Roll. Have you ever attempted to cover a tune written and recorded by the 1980s group 'TOTO'? It is titled Down in "AFRICA'? I've listened to some other organists attempt to do 'due-diligence; even one on a Hammond. This will be a real study because a single phase is repeated som many times.
