    If i give the quadriceps some extra support by taping them is it possible to train the glutes without increasing quadriceps as they shall be deloaded by taping? Is my understanding correct? I have a problem that whenever i train to get bigger glutes my quadriceps start looking huge 😥

    This tape could be more comfortable than a hip support for bursitis, if enough compression can be applied. With a hip support I have to wrap two trouser braces (suspenders) aroundy tigh and waist to get enough compression.

    Could I extend the middle strip and split it into two so it's kind of a combo of the quad tape and knee tape cause my knee hurts as well?

    What if it's more on the side of your thigh? Where do you put it then?

      Hi Thank you for your comment. You can apply two parallel stripes on your thigh and use 25% stretch of the tape. Thanks.

    Can i use this technique to prepare for a marathon?

      Hi Nande, Thank you for your reply. You can use the tape during preparation and during the triathlon. Make sure you apply the tape 20-30 minutes before any exercise.

      Hi Sylvia,
      Thank you for your comment. The tape should start above your knee and finish under your hip. 3 strips of 20-25cm of Meglio Kinesiology Tape should be enough.

      Which sport or activity are you referring to?
      It really depends on your injury and how severe the pain is.
      I would recommend speaking to your local physio before returning to sport.
