Thank you sir I am one of your students from jjmmc 2k13 batch Currently doing pg in pediatrics at ucms delhi We are required to do hanging drop preparations for our patients presenting with suspected cholera in ER so we can give them azithro stat dose Today i was searching for this hanging drop method on you tube so that i can do it more precisely and found your video Thanks for the video
This is a little different from techniques used in other labs. The lab I worked in, we are restricted from using sulfites for ph balance, instead we use Mississippi Lime...samples for motility are taken on an hourly 24 hour watch directly from an overflow, but this is a more advanced slide technique, we use a centerfuse , test tube, and gloves , back in 2001 - 03. I am interested in the type of motility you are viewing. Reason being, we are in a pandemic situation, where such airborne particulates would show up in the raw product process being that it came from a bat, and we set our ph balancing in 60,000 gal, silos, and silos were continually being checked for Bat residency. What is your method for killing bacteria ? - what is your time and volume on a 24 hour watch, and success rate per batch ? - how does your Waste Water management handle clean up, and community awareness of such motility ? - Why is the community blind to this watch on our Town Meeting Minutes ? - this should have been our first clue to the. Covid - 19 pandemic.
Thank you sir .... I,ve a prac of embroyology and got to use this technique ... But in case of pollen grains .. I hope the same procedure will work for as well .. But if any tips than i would like to know as well .. Thanks :))
Its not Ebola virus man. The people learning this are handling bacteria that will be mitigated by basic precaution like band-aids on cuts. Wash your hands. They don't give you insane pathogens in Micro 204.
gloves are not highly recommended in micro labs because they make handling slides significantly more inefficient. so yes, this is educational. your comment, however, is not.
exactly! I wear them sometimes because I have open cuts on my hands from eczema and dry skin. However, my professor NEVER uses gloves. Ever. He says if you practice safe handwashing, you should be fine in a micro class with no gloves.
This video will help for my tomorrow 's practical exam...thank you sir
One of the best silent videos I’ve seen. To whoever has made this much effort for the video, have a great day.
This is so cool. Thanks for the video! Should help with my practical exam :)

Its amazing
Why aren't you wearing gloves?!?!
They are costy -_-
gloves make handling slides in lab significantly more inefficient. micro labs function like that.
@@azntreehugger118 Wtf, If im handling the black plague in my hands im gonna wear gloves.
That's how things are done in Micro labs in medical colleges.
@@GonthorianPX you don't use protection when you handle harmless stuff , it's a waste and an annoyance.
thanks......
Whay you dont wear gloves??
thank you!
Thanks!

why not use a hanging drop plate with many little wells.

We dont wear gloves in our micro225 class either

Uncle bol kr btaya kriye please
Video without communication. No talking wat x dx
thinks verrrryyy much
Apko mcz combination ke bare mai pata hai toh apka WhatsApp no. de do
Umm using bare hands 🤢
Why the f*** can't you narrate and don't you wear gloves
gloves make handling slides incredibly inefficient. if you took a micro class that's what they tell you.
Sorry but this video should not be on you tube ! Have you heard of Universal Precautions ?????????????????
Thank you
Very helpful
