I have two palm trees that must be 40 And 50 feet and need to trimmed bad. One of them has some pigeons living in it and I can hear the babies squeaking every evening. Bearded palms make excellent bird habitat. If mine weren't so ugly I'd let them be. After seeing this I better leave it to the pros. Good job.
Do your palms go light beige and show black moldy spots!? This is unsightly, or I'd leave the remains there as well. I also have some great bird homes behind my palm beard.
Para el corte de los frutos mejor que la sierra es utilizar el gancho de frutos o gumia, mucho más cómodo, más rápido y con un corte totalmente limpio, y por supuesto el uso del corvellote, son herramientas que se utilizan en España. Un saludo

Not Today we often suck down our fair share of pigeon crap when we are up in those palms!

and the wind totally twists and mangles my hanging palms, which is another reason to see them go. I'll need to create new bird habitats!
