I really hate how homogeneous the art in Magic has become. Phil Foglio was one of my favorite artists just for how different and goofy his art was, one of my favorite cards is his version of Goblin King.

Ron Spencer. Sliver Queen is still my favorite piece of card art to this day. I even bought an ugly sweater with it on it, but the art makes it not ugly. So... I guess it's just a sweater?

My favorite newer arts are Johannes Voss’s Dog Plains from Jumpstart, Leesha Hannigan’s Rin and Seri from M21, and Craig Spearing’s Octopus Token from BFZ.
And just everything by Dan Frazier and Mark Poole, the Moxen and Birds of Paradise especially.

Best artist hands down is Bob Ross. WIzards used a handful of his paintings for lands, so he is technically a Magic artist.

My favorite individual card is probably Commander's Authority with its fun composition and backlighting. After that is probably old-school Regeneration (the Quinton Hoover art).

My favorite Magic artist is Donato Giancola. Memory Jar, Thousand-Year Storm, and Cut of the Profits are some of my favorite cards of his.
Someone else you should take a look at is Scott Fischer. He has such a neat high-contrast style that really pops.
Ian Miller has an amazing style as well. Similar to Justine imo.
