Shayne is the BEST! We drove 7 hours to Eastern Wisconsin to see him. Worth the whole trip, even had to bring our brand new adopted dog with to make it but I'd do it all again. Bravo, Shayne!!!
Sayyy whaaaaaat? I know that I know your name but can’t put a face to it. I’m from Prior Lake, MN Btw, that’s a huge security risk to use your actual name as your email address, and then to just be all out here on TH-cam with it nekkid like that. TH-cam does allow you to use an alias. You’ll find it in the account settings area. EDIT:Mistaken identity. Sounds phonetically similar to a girl I know. Audio can be funny like that. Ya know?😉
Shayne Smith is a notch above the others. He is so much more natural when he is telling the story, which makes his timing spot in...and this is my first time listening to any of these people. Though I did enjoy all of them. .. Thank you! ⚘️
Shane Smith is the king of the top ten, most of which didn’t raise a smile let alone make me laugh, only Shane had me laughing out loud, and I’ve seen that routine 3 or 4 times already.
My mom's was immediately knocked you into the middle of next week or you wanna pick yourself up out of the middle of next week. I miss her and I'm 65. You never stop missing your mom.
@eastsideterri25 I just turned 50, my mom will be 74 this year, and i am still scared of her, lol. We lost my dad when I was 5, so I don't really remember him, but my mom raised me n my brother alone and she is tuff as nails, and truly my hero
My parents are exactly like that when I visit. They'll talk to me each about something complely different at the same exact time. Oh and switching topics every 15 seconds lol.
As a boomer born in mid 50’s did and had the same experience of gen x, drinking from hose, yes in summer it was warm water, no helmets for bikes or motor cycles, no seat belts, we were mostly told to shake it off, no fancy lunchboxes but we had the advantage of a mother at home but not as many material possessions, we weren’t locked out of the house, only one car to the family, but we explored the little town wher we lived and since no cell phones our parents didn’t always know her we were but wer able to call around until one or more of the many mothers at home could be tracked down.
Same here, but I don't quite get why people make jokes about our lack of safety and common sense. I'm glad we've evolved past being stupid enough to drive around without a seat belt on.
Yup … I heard it often as a kid “go outside and don’t come back till the sun starts coming down” and I have three words “magic wooden spoon” more accurate then a sniper rifle and burns hotter then the sun. Ahh memories lol
"It was my neck. My neck was hanging from my neck." has me crying. My dad's entire side, except my younger brother, has the "goozle" as my grandma called it. Only surgery I've ever seriously considered. Not that I will, but a girl can dream. Only made it to 42:39 but so far I'm enjoying everyone.
1:01:22 I was once bored during the night time, and started to play with my air rifle in the kitchen. I decided that my dartboard would be the target. BUT it was an expensive bristle dartboard, and I did use it every day to play darts. I didn't want to ruin it. So clever me, I flipped it over to the back. Now.. Anyone who ever owned an expensive dartboard knows where this anecdote is going. The back of the dartboard was basically 1 inch thick solid chipboard. I pinned a paper target to the board and retreated to the far end of the kitchen. 3 pumps of my Daisy Powerline 2.2 and took aim. Do you know... As I clicked the trigger... the pellet hit me right in the middle of the forehead within I'm going to say 1/10 of a second? Literally.. right in the middle of the forehead. I mean, it only made a red mark as such. Certainly didn't break the skin. I wore spectacles back then, so I would just about have been ok had the pellet rebounded towards my eyes. But still a valuable lesson learned. lol
The very first lady Ronda touched upon using a universal remote to turn off the TV's in a restaraunt. My mate used to have a fancy watch his parents got him as a Christmas gift one year around 1980 or so, that also had that function. The hours of fun we would have with that thing. Sitting on a bench in Rotherham town centre facing the Radio Rentals shop or some other TV selling/renting establishment. (Yes, in the distant past here in the UK you could pay to RENT a TV. Or even radio set for that matter.) Not turning the sets off of course. No no.. Whacking the volume/s up full. Such entertainment in simpler times. lol
My parents both retired from NAS Jax and I partly grew up there and the couple other military base/posts/etc around the area. The way he described the base and outer area is accurate. Never had that type of runaround there though.
The accent thing is actually not necessarily true. Our friend Mariko (Japanese) had a hard time understanding my mom because she would do that. 😂😂 but when my sister, dad, and I talked to her normally she could understand just fine. We tried to be mindful to speak a little slower and they did the same when I stayed with her family in Japan.
@@ThatOnePieceKid I've found it depends on how they learned. If they learned it from a native English speaker, it'll be easier for them to understand unaltered English. But if they learned from another person who learned it as a second language, they'll probably have an easier time understanding English with an accent.
@shaynesmith I laughed til I cried like a baby, started an asthma attack, and snorted at awkward times in between 😂 and I’ve seen that clip many times before!
OMG! This is the First Time I've seen this video! Until Now! I've never seen Ben Brainard! OMG! Ben Brainard is Funny! Ben, You are Awesome! Keep Up The Great Work! LOL! And The Funny Thing is is I've been past NAS Jax before! I'm not from that area originally. I'm sorry I haven't discovered you until now.... probably because, I just came in from drinking hose water! I'm a Gen X'er! =D Ben, You're Amazing! Keep Rockin It!=D
The Gen X time and generation precisely described. We had to grow up and grow up hard and fast. The baby boomers were horrendously awful parents whom the Gen X had to be parents to. We see it in the world today. The Gen X is the last battalion before the great tribulation on earth. Praise God for His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, there is a home away from this fallen world.
I'm a millennial born 92 but I grew up go outside till 9 at night drank from the hose bb gun wars and shoot the arrow straight up with a bow then run lol
The algorithms are working over - time. I was watching the 2nd comic and he was talking about Walmart and what ad pops up on the you tube channel . You guess it ! A Walmart ad
While I have only listened to the first two comedians so far, The video of the second comedian and his super long bit about his ID was kind of boring and definitely laborious to listen to. The first minute was kind of amusing, but then became highly repetitive and uninteresting. I would put it among the worst Drybar material I listened to this year. The clip from the first comedian was good but not great.
@DailySource interesting that I was the opposite. had to skip the first act cause it didn't jive with me. Got bored with 2nd act and here I am in the comments.
Disheartening? How so? This is meant to promote the DryBar channel, why wouldn't DryBar choose the clips? People let the big ethical issues slide these days, and chose to climb onto a tall horse (lol) over the pettiest issues...
@@standdownrobots_ihaveoldglory I think they said it was disheartening because there were funnier clips to choose from that would better promote their channel.. but idk, just what I read.. That is a weird word to use to describe the sentiment though.. disheartening seems a bit dramatic.. however, that's what peaked my interest to look at the comments, LoL..

Ron Josol had me in tears...had to make sure he was on this list.
If he wasn't, there would be a "preaking froblem".
Love Dry Bar.
AGREED! The only set I've watched it multiple times a day and day after day on top of that, and I laughed just as hard each time.

Shayne Smith is a boss. Hands down my favorite.
Shayne is the bomb and now he's a Christian! praise the Lord! Your black belt awaits you in heaven
Shayne Smith is definitely my fave on this list! Great stories, excellent presentation... 😂🤣
If you prefer clean comedy, do not follow him on social media lol! Idc either way but that boy is so nasty lol (funny tho)
@@standdownrobots_ihaveoldglory I've only ever seen him here. TH-cam is my only social media. But now you've made me curious. Lol! 😂🤣

Excellent.
Something for everyone.
Laughter is the best medicine.
The GenX bit was sincerely a therapeutic moment.
Seriously, right to Shane.
Brian Kiley is a good one!!! I love those type of comedians where their speciality is the one-liner!!!
Shane's hysterical!!!🤣🤣🤣

Bless his heart, Shayne is about as funny as a dog pissing on an electrified fence. You know it hurts, but you still have to laugh!
Shayne is the best of all time hands down 💯💯
This is just awesome. I've been laughing til I cry on some of these
Freakin love Ben Brainard’s special!!!
How was Shane Smith NOT #1. The others were funny, but Shane is on another level.
Omg.
I am a "baby boomer" of older parents; with a "gen x" childhood.
Thank you.
I loved all of them.
Cathy Ladman was so amazing.
So much fun! Thank you! Happy New Year!🎉

Lot of funny guys there.

Yes !!! I lived in Jax Fla, when my husband was in the Navy. That was Waaaay back in the early 1970's !!! I guess some things never change !!! 💗
Can I get a timestamp, I can't find what you are mentioning?
I literally lived down the street from NAS, this is insanely legit

That's a heck of a compliment, thank you!
Well done Rhonda 👏 😂
