An insane sounding C55 AMG at SCC500's Rolling50 last year. This 650hp C55 really is a wolf in sheepsclothing. What a beast, and you don't even see it from the outside. That's something I really like about this car; the cool but not too extreme looks, a hell of a sound and an amazing 650 horsepower!

55k swap with Weistec 3.0 liter supercharger.
I dont think you can directly swap a E55 engine into a c55, to tight.
Nope direct bolt in. Just add after cooler plumbing.
You need a Transmission Tune or E55 transmission, Hooleyboy did his on MBforums he has the official fastest c55K. in the 1/4 mile....you need different differential, rear axle ,wiring harness....ETC..etc....its better to tune this car or for that money get a custom Turbo kit.....Since this engine is designed to be N/A..its not going to be reliable. I would rather get a 150 shot of NOS. lol and a tune, with headers, straight pipe..tasteful mods.

I'm on the forum. The transmission will hold with solenoid upgrades up to 600 to 700 hp. The differential for the c55 is fine just add an LSD. The engine harness from the 55k, ignition, key and ecu from the same e55 is best makes programming easier.

@@ALifeWithCars your welcome man. There is a guy out there that is using a mustang blower with the weistec lower and an adapter for cheaper and great numbers.

AW- XX65 I have a w209 55 with an m113k also. I'd love to know about your exhaust setup as I have a factory c55 exhaust laying around. My car is an 03 so I don't have factory quad. But I noticed the factory c55 exhaust utilizes a much smaller pipe diameter
