    Great series of "The County" with awesome details! I followed along with my Northern Maine sled map. I made some notes of things like Martins for a gas stop for my future trips.
    My crew "The Dutchmen Drifters" stayed in New Sweden the week before your trip for 10 days. We stayed in limestone in Feb for a week too, so your videos brought back some great memories of this past winter!. Ride On!!!!

      Thanks for stopping by the channel.. It’s appreciated. That’s awesome you were able to follow along.. !! That’s why I started putting the trail #’s on the screen so people could follow along if they wanted. Gotta love the County !! Keeps us going back every year. Twice this past season.. Take care 👍🏼

    Hey Mark,
    Thanks for stopping back to watch more videos. The new sled in my videos is a 2022 ZR9000 Thundercat which has a 200 horsepower Yamaha three cylinder 4 stroke in it. I upgraded the stock shocks to Elka Stage 5 shocks which are some of the best in the business. I purchased the Thundercat mainly because of the all new power steering that was offered which makes riding the heavier 4 stroke literally a piece of cake. The Computer is flashed with Hurricane Performance’s Cluster tune which gives me the option to choose 225hp, 240hp and 270hp at a click of a button on the gauge pod. So far it’s been an amazing sled and I don’t see myself upgrading as the power steering isn’t offered from Polaris or Skidoo. Take Care 👍🏼

    Enjoyable video to watch! I love that your sled is so quiet, makes it so much easier to watch than the two stroker videos.

      Thanks a lot Baydog for watching. That’s why I changed over to the 4 stroke sleds a few yrs ago as I grew tired of the whiny 2 strokes engine on those 200 mile days. The older I get the quieter I like it. Take Care👍🏼

    👍 Remarkable conditions for the time of year. I left Fort Kent on 14 March. Parking lots were asphalt. I installed a wheel kit for next season.

    • @SometimeIsNow
      @SometimeIsNow  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes.. For the end of March we thought it was great conditions. Our riding season at home was over for weeks so trails with snow was a plus. 😁 Those wheels will be great for next season.. 👍🏼

      @SometimeIsNow  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hahahahaha.. I only had it on the 225hp tune all week.. 😂 The 240 & 270 tunes are nuts.. I promised the wife and Riley I would come home safely from this trip so I left it on 225. 😁

    What ice scratchers are you running?

      Hey Jim, Thanks for stopping to watch the video.
      I’m running the Skidoo tunnel scratchers.. 👍🏼

      @@SometimeIsNow I came upon your videos with your Gamin tread install video I used to install the GPS on my sidewinder, a big help, thanks. Love your videos. Do you have an install video for the scratchers? I have cable scratchers but breaking the rubber stops on the rail all the time and looking for a new scratcher type.

    • @SometimeIsNow
      @SometimeIsNow  7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@jimseverns6546 I did record video on what it takes to install the Skidoo tunnel mounted Ice Scratchers but never edited the footage and uploaded it. A one point I was thinking of selling a kit to mount the skidoo tunnel mounted scratchers to the Procross chassis and be reliable. Using the skidoo mounting kit and their bolts supplied it was sketchy and I didn’t like the risk of the mounting bolt contacting the pivot idler arms. I noticed the rear skid likes to split the rubber shock rail pads.
      I’m going to be recording going through my rear skid, replacing all the chinesium wheel bearings to Timken bearings, adding a 4th wheel to the rear axle, upgrading to a Yamaha Sidewinder drilled brake rotor and upgrade the driveshaft bearing to Timken from the cheap Chinesium one. Email me at yoursometimeisnow@gmail.com and I’ll send you a few photos of how and where I mounted the scratchers.
