The Skerwink trail is a must! Located in the Town of Port Rexton. This 5.3km (3.3 mile) hike has insane views: sea stacks, beaches, and sheer cliffs. If your timing is right you might even sea an iceberg and if your timing is REALLY right you might see an iceberg, a whale and the stellar sea Eagle 🦅.
This video was filmed the first week of June, 2023. Newfoundlanders call June the RDF Month…
Rain, Drizzle, Fog!

The original Diaphoretic Foghorn was a invented by Robert Hope-Jones.
The Diaphone was Originally Devised as an Organ Pipe (usually labeled "Diaphonic Diapason" usually found on Theater Pipe-Organs more than classical) before being modified into a Marine safety device.
Absolutely gorgeous 💜, like always! My brother did a similar trip on his motorcycle.

Thanks for watching
Such beautiful scenery!
It really is!
Oh wow! What an incredible place you have brought us to! Now I want to take a "Geology of Newfoundland" class!
The geology is incredible. You don’t realize it because most everything has some sort of ground over hiding it. But the coastlines are just incredible!
I love cribbage and yahtzee... looks like A wonderful memorable time... boy those were some crazy twisted trees... but those cliffs were scary... stay safe and healthy, from Deb in South Dakota
all around good time!
Great video!
I did another State Park this past weekend. My van is coming together nicely, and rigging it is pretty easy. Ill be ready for full time in October.
Wow! I keep saying this about your adVANture! Thanks again for sharing all this with us. Such a gorgeous coast line and your drone work (Dave) and photos (Carrie) are outstanding. Carrie you really have a great talent.
Thanks so much! Glad you are along for the journey. I had a bucketlist photo opportunity coming up. I cannot wait to share that video.

Thank you for coming along!
We enjoy your videos ever week, keep it up
Thank you very much! We talk about buying that “special piece of land” but 1) we haven’t found it 2) we are not ready to stop traveling.
STUNNING!
It was!!
Absolutely spectacular! 🤩
It really is! I wish we had a bit more of a view. Drone footage would have been spectacular!
Beautiful, i can see why that trail was top 35
It was one of the best trails we’ve ever hiked. It was relatively short with such a big bang for your money.
We are loving this trip! We are planning to head to NF next summer so we are taking lots of notes. Thank you for putting out such great videos😊❤️
Our pleasure! We will have a NewFoundland “what you need to know” when the series wraps up.
That looks like an alien coast on a planet far far away.
I've got to wonder what you might pull inf you cast a line out there.
Stark lonesome beauty.
it was really foggy but dave thought he saw a fish swimming in one spot! Who know what you would catch!
Thank you guys !!!
Excellent video as always 👍
Awesome Video, I recognized the view right from the beginning. The sea stack that you were looking at is know as "The Naked Man" by locals and there are good fishing grounds off of it. The huge rock on the beach right outside your camper is known as Money Rock there are rumors that there is pirate treasure buried on the top Ha Ha. My daughters boyfriend is from Trinity. Looks like you guys had a similar day to mine when you hiked the trail the fog was unbelievable times we couldn't see the ocean from the trail let alone the lighthouse LOL
Just passed u on the highway out side of Fredericton New Brunswick
Beautiful!
Thank you!
😍
We missed this trail. Looked amazing. Are you going to a series from Nova Scotia?
No, we are going the jet through Nova Scotia and New Brunswick back to maine.
There's a Fort Point in San Francisco also
I found that out by accident when I was looking for coordinates 😂
What does Trinity do about groceries?
😀🩵👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
That trail is brilliant! Is it doable for a pretty mobile old geezer. I walk with walking poles, so balance is rarely an issue. Playing cards in the rain is one of my favorites, actually. We played lots and lots of Uno with our boys. Do you think most of your travels could be done in a 22’ Transit Van conversion? Thank you. I’ll be following you next summer.
Trail was good for balance. There were a few pretty steep up and down sections. But if those were too much you could always turn back. The views were still amazing before the steep part. In fact most of the views that you saw were just that… when we got to the steep parts it was to foggy to see anything.
Be careful out there kids were that tired and them dogs is there any polar bear?
Rugged!
You hit 30k subscribers!!! 🎉. You should have way more, with these amazing views and great travel tips. Love you three. ✌️❤️🚐
Thanks so much!! We are still growing so all is good!
Spectacular!
