All gang roads lead back to Cali. Cali prison politics dominate the federal prison system even on the East Coast, and their cliques are so powerful, well-funded and organized that validated members do their time in supermax segregation. All that dope trafficked through LA just gives them all a bottomless pool of money or "munnee" as the kids call it these days. Okay I made that last part up.

People don’t realize how big of a deal Gangbangin was in Los Angeles at this time and still to this day. All big cities in America have gang problems but LA revels in it and of course the Hollywood image contribute big-time to that. Even The damn cops in LA literally have gangs with their own tattoos and shake down tactics etc. people also don’t realize the vastness of Los Angeles and LA County if they are not familiar with the area. It is far bigger in terms of land mass than New York City and Chicago or any other major city in America. And the entire thing is riddled with gangs. people think fun in the sun when they think LA but LA is no joke and is as deep as any city in America gets.

@@sdaoud31 Lmaooo I’m from Southern California and still live there and you could not be more wrong 😂😂 gangs are alive and well here in California especially in LA. You know gentrification doesn’t actually solve anything right?? It just pushes the local population into a different neighborhood. LA is so shit now you have sets in Hollywood and Beverly Hills💀💀 Ms-13 is super active in North Hollywood. Gang banging never died out in California it just isn’t a mainstream focus anymore because it’s not 1992 lol.

Uh, I’m sure almost everyone in America is aware of how big gang banging was in LA in the 80s and 90s considering how many movies and rap songs were made about it. The most well known street gangs in America are crips and bloods which were LA based. So I don’t understand why you would say people don’t realize this when LA was notoriously known for being gang central.

They key to decreasing the violence THEN and NOW is a stronger family structure. We have to stop having babies with 5 different women, women stop having 5 different baby daddy’s! If you notice, they ALMOST NEVER mention a father being around! We seem to be buying in to the “I can raise a child by myself” philosophy. We praise single mothers as if they didn’t make bad decisions!! Most of our families consist of no fathers, step fathers or mothers, step brothers or sisters, half brother or sisters on both sides of the family! Think about how that may affect a child! Children are being raise in separated households! The family structure is being destroyed and that is the MAJOR reason for all of this violence!

And vice versa, women are here to teach us to be loving and nurturing in nature and men are here to teach us how to carry ourselves like a protector a provider someone who solves problems.

This was just away to advertise gangs, and that lifestyle, down to teaching the language, and telling others that are amused by this kinda crap, or that want to make a fast buck, what drugs to sell. There was no plot by an organization to take new territory. In gangs there are those you respect, and listen to more than others, but no clear leaders pushing drug franchises. The taking of licenses, and added hardship punishments, only worsened economic strains in poor black neighborhoods that bring about the desperation that brings about such a desperate actions, such as the selling of drugs. This was apart of the propaganda techniques that were, and in many ways still are only about turning American opinions against black Americans. They did a ton of this deal in the 80's & 90's. All part of a staged "war on drugs", that was a war on blacks using drugs bought using government created weapons that they dropped off in South amarica, in order to destabilise the communities there, and the local government,ec

She died of a crack overdose in 1996. Then her grandma killed herself after the house burnt down when Jerome’s crack pipe caught it on fire. Jerome’s mama found out that Jerome’s baby daddy was a south side crip and she died after a lengthy bout with alcoholism. They cremated her and spread her ashes over the KFC next to her house.

What a joke to have someone like Bennett on this show & in the position he holds too… Any man that can gamble away 8 million or more at a casino per year has lost touch with reality… in my opinion.
Him…”let’s build the prisons to lock these people up they need put away for a long time..!”
And here we are decades later.. & nothings changed

17:25 bro that's the reason kids are going to gangs. Cause who tf can live off of 3$ an hour? You're going to be working 60hr+ weeks to even attempt to make ends meet at an apartment so yeah, kids are gangbanging and stuff cause they're scared of being homeless or saying "look mom, idk what to do. It's either this or that to provide for the family" and they've got to do what they gotta do.

Chicago got it's own gangs, mobs, & nations. They would never let Bloods, or Crips take over when they have their own situation for as long as L.A. have had it's gangs. I heard they tried to move in during the 80's and Chi gangs pretty much shut them down.

I remember clearly when gangbanging started to heat up in my city of ST. LOUIS. For so many years in my youth, I thought it was because of COLORS (the movie), and gangsta rap. It wasn't until I was an adult that i figured out the truth.
