To start a fire just use a little diesel. Great to start fires, no explosion. Just a gentle start. Burns for hours. Put paper, pine and hard word on the fire pore on some diesel. Throw on a match. There you go, instant fire. Use some gum leaves if u want a fast fire.
It's hard to imagine, but the crocs are there!!! The Collinsville water ski club used to be in a weir upstream of where you were and had to be disbanded as the crocs were a threat!
I lived and worked in Weipa in 1978 to 1985. Drove to the tip swum the Land Cruiser across Jardine two ways. Used to drive Weipa to Bamaga on a weekend to dances then back to work Sunday. Used to back up Cockatoo creek to show the tourist how it’s done. Folks in brand new Land Cruiser got stuck while use in old sportiest just drove up and back and played in the sand. Come on guys it isn’t so tough. Drop your tyre pressure. Learn to drive sand. Make sure your truck is in top condition. Do all the mechanicals. We Didn’t have winches used turfers. I’m going to give you guys two amazing Bara fishing spots. One Triluck Creek very big Barra - Easter or Late Season Sept. (Big Breeding Females plus young males). Don’t walk the mouth as stingers and sea snakes are present. But what a beautiful spot. Two Wenlock river Marpoon - get permission from the elders and community and help them out with money, food, supplies etc (they are wonder beautiful people) near Tent Pole Creek the (Barge) up to Stones Crossing. Watch the big crocs.

Hello, now we normally find your videos entertaining. I am not saying this to be mean !, but music is not entertaining. We found the video boring. Also for many of us full time nomads we are not elitist and cannot afford to cook expensive pieces of meat. Don’t loose being nomads and turn it into an elitist group. I really hope you do not take my comment as being horrible because it is honest criticism. We wish you well and stay safe.❤😊
Sorry you found the episode boring. It takes hours to find music for our videos and we thought the music fitted the episode. We find cooking the meat was not a expensive as it goes a long way. We eat it the next day or freeze it for pizza toppings etc.
Thanks Gail, 100% won't hold it against you, we actually appreciate honest feedback! The meat was expensive but it did 3 meals. I use the left overseas as wrap fillers and pizza topping. Certainly couldn't afford a $50 piece of meat for 1 meal! Even if we could I just couldn't! We also had an oopsie with the music. You will see it playing over us talking. Editing error but video was live when we realised thanks for you feedback and ongoing support! Have a great week.
