    Mate once again Derrick balls of steel to even attempt that. This is why I watch you guys all the time. No stress let’s just call in a tractor to get us out and have a few great northerns to wash it all down after the fact. Sue how do you do it, my wife would be stressing all the time. Luv it.

    Geez, lets go down the beach and have some fun, yeah right. Bit light on the right foot when first hitting the beach, and no locker in, really Nige. No speed bogs. Did well, the ideas/theory to get out were good, tractor even better.

    Another great video guys, and another great life adventure for you two....I know its after the event but a couple of things I picked up from your predicament...A walk down first onto the sand should have rung some alarm bells for you....never be afraid to drop tyre pressures right down , as low as 10 or 12 psi, act cautiously...I did notice none of your tyres "belled" out at all. To do that, chuck away them bloody pressure gauges you have and get a decent tyre deflator. To snig your van around with a winch, drop jockey wheel onto your spade, lower the van down low then do your winching, the front of the van will "ski", the shovel head acting like a sled. Also attach a bright coloured ribbon, about 2 or 3 metres long to each Max Trak, makes for easy location after the stuff up....Keep up the good work.....look forward to next weeks "adventure"

    • @suelandolt6840
      @suelandolt6840 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is awesome thanks Graham! The spade as a ski, didn't think of that. Hopefully we won't get ourselves into this situation again but if we do this is really useful advice. Thank you!

    • @justvanningit
      @justvanningit  ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Small hints for next time, as soon as your bogged go lower in tyre pressure, and when tightening your do35 to the hitch you can take the hitch out from the car and rotate it 90° and put it back in, this will give you downward leverage and allow you to use all your weight or jump on it 👍

    ATG&NFI. 😂
    You didn’t listen to the land owners advice. You also didn’t walk down first & take a look see. 🙄
    If you’d walked down & looked you could have parked & camped up top on the grass under the trees & just driven the 4WD down to the creek during the day to fish or swim.
    You also didn’t have the rear diff lock engaged until after you got stuck.
    All “rookie mistakes”. 😉
    With that sized & weight van, you bought the cruiser as a tow vehicle to haul it on road.
    The manufacturer can call it a off road van but that doesn’t actually make it off road capable in either, sand, mud or water.
    You really need to up your game substantially.

      I’m not sure about that. Unfortunately I feel you wrong. Reason - I did give it throttle and any more wouldn’t have gotten us anywhere. Sometime more throttle is not the right way to do things. You say I’m babying everything, I think that’s a bit rude to be honest. I don’t see any babying in that video. We were calm and got out and we still had an amazing time.
      At the end of the day , we having fun
