Originally these benches were upholstered with an artifical leather in red coloring. Funny enough these trains were designed to have double panel windows that can be pulled down to open. However, to save costs, the regime then decided to fit these trains with just tiltable windows and a single panel.
The modernized 810s do have windows that can be pulled down (similar to the older 820) as seen in this video. I may actually miss those modernized 810s once they replace them with the RS1s, but I think the accessibility of the RS1 is good enough reason for replacement on its own.
