Regardless of this movie's problems, I love how the Eternal's power looks. The golden strands are surprisingly unique.
I like his style simple and straight movements yet with power. A little more seriousness and he is perfect.
The simplicity kinda enhances it for me.
It is simple, but there is efficiency, and he isnt so inflexible that he cant adapt, he is a guy that knows how to use his powers.
I love that Ikaris' fighting style looks like he is just playing around. Most of the time he only use his cosmic beams.
Ikaris has his cosmic beams and superhuman physical attributes. Makes sense for him to use the cosmic beams very often
@@angelaceges Well, according to the database, Ikaris is far more powerful than just that. He can use telepathy, create illusions, rearrange molecular structures and he can teleport.
And yet, he just stands there upright, hands behind his back, completely relaxed and shoots with his laser beams.

I feel like Eternals is a setup for something bigger. Their not gonna have an important role against Kang or the multiverse but it's gonna set up something bigger for Phase 7 but I could be wrong.

All eternals have cosmic energy manipulation. From that it's broken down to what an individual power is. In this instance he has optic beams.

@@aryanyeager5643 technically any character that shoots beams from their eyes are optic blasts. Cyclops is mostly known for calling them that.

Anyone noticed his lasers don't actually burn anything? It just pushes and break stuff a lot.
Yes it do lol look 0:39 but it isnt powerful as supermans
He can adjust it and you can see that it cuts through the beast's bulletproof skin(very durable) and eternal spaceship.

And all of those times, there were no burns. Especially on the Eternals ship. It just hit the ship and broke it, not cut.
@@jeannguyen3199 His beam is interesting. Not only does it have heat, but it can push things and explode. You can see his beams send the Druig underground. He can also travel at incredible speed (from earth to space in seconds) smiler to superman or Omni man.

Eh, I won’t really say that. Ikaris at least believed he’s serving a greater cause and sincerely cares for his fellow Eternals. Homelander was a simple bully with superpowers.
1:54 Pedantic but just want to point out that at 1:54, his hands would sink into the ground. He is trying to push up, the beast is pushing down, they have super strength.
Not necessary, it's about physics and leverage. Solid compact ground are very sturdy, their strength aside from directed against each other, the deviant isn't bracing against anything that would allow it to just break the ground. Very few character with Super-strength can break earth independently.
I love ikaris. I want him and Vision teaming up

If the eternals visited Asgard in the past, def hela 8/10, but if on earth in the future after her sealing I’d say Ikaris 7/10, 8-9/10 if he has backup.

The movie has flaws... but the sfx are not one of them.
That eye laser looks and sounds deadly, sure... the deviants can take them, but they are THE enemy for the eternals.
