The equivalent of superman in Marvel comics is not Ikaris is another character who's name escapes me right now, but yeah Ikaris is a superman-like character, but Marvel has a more similar version to his character is all I'm trying to say, and to the specific character of the video which is Thena, well as a character she's brought from the mythology of the pantheon of Greek deties that have existed for thousands of years, she's based on the goddess Athena.. Just like how the comics took Odin, Thor, Loki for example from Norse gods mythology, which are way More powerful in the comics and of course in mythology, and in both are considered literal gods..
bro I know Eternals wasn't perfect (i wish it had 2 movies, or was a D+ series with 8 episodes), but I really enjoyed it's characters, aesthetic, and themes of heroism. it dared to ask "what does it mean to be a hero?" is it following through with your duty, your goal, and staying true to your code? is it being a great warrior? removing conflict at the expense of freedom? is it saving as much people as possible? or is it allowing the birth of more lives at the expense of the few? or the opposite? it really pierced through those ideas, sadly it wasn't long enough to explore all of it properly.

hence Ikaris was threatened by her. even when Makkari ragged doll him, it was Thena who he feared the most.
Yet gilgamesh smacked the shit out of her with just one punch without even trying holding back and trying not to hurt her
