    I only just started down the DSP rabbit hole but it will never cease to amaze me just how many people are ready and willing to call DSP out on his crap in every way possible. Not one person is willing to entertain the idea of defending him. That speaks volumes.

    DSP is a guilty pleasure, I can't wait to see how he goes over the next decade, hope Kat doesn't have a life insurance policy, for her sake.

    And he was still putting his guilt tripping on his whales. I’m sure tomorrow he’ll say something about not doing anything because he’s broke.

    6.5k on youtube in one month 😶 but what makes it crazy is that he will be begging the day this hits his account. It's easily enough money for him to live off of alone, and it'll be completely memory holed.
    I mean, who the hell could live off of 78k a year?!?!? Step up, Chicken Man

  • @michaelkitchin9665
    @michaelkitchin9665 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Okay, so that equates to about 11 Vagrant Holidays. Phil could effectively take the rest of the year hitchhiking around Europe on this month alone.

  • @DarkPhoenix89
    @DarkPhoenix89 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I always said he's earning at least 10k average per month. This more than proves it. I'd be retired with the mortgage paid off if were earning this kind of money each month for a decade. I'm sure he would have been earning more than this during his partnership and Machinima days.

    The only thing that keeps me from being completely disgusted by this is knowing Phil isn’t hoarding the money. If anything, it only stays in his pocket for a few hours at most. Almost immediately it gets spent. And he’s helping to support his local DoorDash drivers, pet shop, grocery store and liquor store employees. And WWE Champions devs.

    How much does he pay in taxes on that? Hes gotta pay both the employee deductions and the "employer deductions" too, so its gotta be about 30% of that i would imagine. On top of whatever the state taxes are

    • @PieceofPeace
      @PieceofPeace  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Depending on what he's claiming as business expenses, I've calculated his overall tax rate at somewhere between 12% (if he's lying out the ass like on his bankruptcy) to 26% (if he's literally claiming NOTHING as a business expense), so it would fall somewhere between that. That includes WA B&O tax btw (WA state doesn't have personal income tax).

    • @Medrius13
      @Medrius13 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@PieceofPeace That's true, I forgot about the expense deductions. Does the govt have a limit on how much you can stack on a payment plan? Cause i cant imagine them jest adding to it every year without triggering something. And since its a sole proprietor, they can go after him, not just his business name. Guess its just a waiting game

    • @PieceofPeace
      @PieceofPeace  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Payment plans seem to be pretty flexible, but I'd imagine it just depends on how much he decides to push them to trigger some kind of audit. So yeah basically just a waiting game like you said.

    Interesting stuff, Phil would learn alot if he saw his finances laid out like this.
    If you lived in the state of Washington and were earning $10k+ NET a month. Is it possible to say I'll put X amount or X% away each month and that should cover ALL my taxes??

    • @hankhill8739
      @hankhill8739 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You forgot to add in the variable for WWE Champions, dood. There might be a $5000 Hulk Hogan jpeg, like really. You’re an idiot, ack ack ack!
      Also pay me money to cover my taxes and even more money to cover the additional taxes from the other money you just gave me.

  • @renalryan
    @renalryan 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I realize that Phil has a spending problem and that he has no clue on how to save money, but it boggles my mind how he can go day to day, week to week, saying he has zero dollars in his bank account. Though, I guess that's technically a true statement if everything sits in PayPal. Semantics, dood.

    What I've always wondered: he claims that he's been missing the tips goals a lot lately, but in January he made atleast $150 per day on tips alone. Does he purposeley ommit some of the tips from his manual counter?

    • @amorasilverspark
      @amorasilverspark 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      He does two streams a day, so Phil actually expects $300 a day, every day that he streams. Also Phil rounds down every tip he gets, so if he gets $4.20 or the minimum $1.51 he gets, they become $4 and $1 respectively on his streams.

  • @TractorGoose
    @TractorGoose 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Still amazing that the fastest way Phil can get back on track financially is to smash his iPhone (though Scopely might have added an account recovery feature, so this joke no longer holds water.... damn).
