That tutorial idea is genius! Only show the guides when the player doesn't play the way the game expects.

OneWheel sim using a balance board and some actuators. Tilt the world so gravity feels like acceleration. You don't rotate in real life, but you can yaw turn in VR like one normally would on a OneWheel (tilt board in direction of turn). Will the Yaw be puke-worthy or could it work due to the nature of standing on a balance board? Either someone will beat me to it, or it is going to be my next project.

When you come to realize that Ryan Eggold isn't just an actor... 😆
Great talk by the way. Very informative!

These VR arcades are exactly what I hate.
You get a powerful, awesome and flexible VR headset.
Then stick it into a limited physical arcade setup with one or two shovelware games that are super forgettable.
The engineering solutions for motion platforms, heating and haptics is awesome.

Ultimately it's very different from what I, as a VR enthusiast, want.

Don't view it as a VR game but just as an upgraded arcade.
It's not here to allow you any sort of freedom but just having fun with friends and experiencing things you couldn't at home

@@Haldarys true, a turret shooter is just like the least exciting thing I could think of
