I feel your pain Ryan. On my '84 CB450SC it has the linked air pressure forks. The fittings on top must be designed for a special tool. And to top it off they were under spring pressure even with the wheel off the ground. What a bear to get those buggers back in. Most needlessly complicated setup I've seen on a bike. Odd because most if the design of a Honda is usually maintenance friendly. Oh well.
Thanks Jonathan. I guess if had needed to remove the forks to drain the oil in the first place, then I wouldn't have been surprised what was needed to refill them.
At a pinch could you have used a lever type oil can with a small nozzle and forced the oil in from the drain plug. A bit messy but would probably have worked . Not quite as easy to measure the exact amount but quicker .
Hi Ryan, I am enjoying the videos …I owned a couple of superdreams, with the original 250n being my first bike and I later owned a black 250nb deluxe like yours and loved them both. Wondered if something is bent on your front indicators, particularly the right one as they seem to point a little skyward? Really enjoying the scrambler project as this brings back memories. When I had my first 250N a friend had a new XL 250 which was great fun to ride.

Hi, then it sounds like I had it easy in comparison. 😁
A bit trickier on the the original 250N as there were no drain plugs on the fork lowers so you had to remove them to drain and refill.

Thank you, I did briefly consider pushing oil in with the syringe, but figured that would be extremely messy.
Hello Ryan, isn't your Super Dream a CB250NDB (the deluxe version)? Not just the CB250N? I saw some years in your manual. What year is yours?
Hi. I think mine is a '82 deluxe, Hope I have not misread the specs. I'll check again tomorrow.

Thanks again.
Trust Honda to over complicate things. Good job though.
Thanks Colin.
