For all things UB40: linktr.ee/ub40...
In the twilight glow I see her
Blue eyes crying in the rain
As we kissed good-bye and parted
I knew we'd never meet again
Love is like a dying ember
Only memories remain
Through the ages I'll remember
Blue eyes crying in the rain
Now my hair has turned to silver
All my life I've loved in vain
I can see her star in heaven
Blue eyes crying in the rain
Someday when we meet up yonder
We'll stroll hand in hand again
In a land that knows no parting
Blue eyes crying in the rain
Someday when we meet up yonder
We'll stroll hand in hand again
In a land that knows no parting
Blue eyes crying in the rain
Blue eyes crying in the rain
Blue eyes crying in the rain
Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain is taken from 2013’s Getting Over the Storm, the band’s 18th studio album.

RIP Brian Travers (1959-2021), UB40 founding member. Taken from us far too soon. Bless him. Bless his family. Bless UB40. Bless you all.
My wife loved UB40 and it was just right that we had this played at her funeral, she had the most amazing blue eyes. " Someday when we meet up yonder, we, 'll stroll hand in hand again . in a land that knows no parting "
Rip
What a touching tribute to your wife… may she continue to rest in peace 🙏🏽

How good to see Samoa in UB40s video clip
Am listening to this while my beautiful 33 year blue eyed daughter is fighting for her life in ICU please wake up Leah your beautiful blue eyed 11year old son needs you too Xx
Update? Did she pull through? Sending love!
This is 2024. Please tell us that she pulled thru
Praying for her
Perfect healings for her
I do hope you got your wish.
I traveled home to see my father. He was ill, I had to stay longer to take care of him. When he started getting well, I was happy, and decided it was time to go. The day I was leaving, he called me to pray for me and bless me, and he did. But as I said goodbye to him, something kept making me feel like I may never see him again. He departed few months after. It's been 3 years, and I am still crying. This song makes me think of him so much. Keep resting Daddy. I love you so much.
I feel your pain 🙁
Amongst many British bands,UB40 were authentic and explorative till they won the hearts of the world.❤❤❤

I've played Willie Nelson's version of this song for 50 years and never knew there was a 2nd verse!!! Must add it, great post, thanks from Decatur Alabama
That skillful blend of country lyrics and steel guitar riding on a driving reggae groove spiced with tasty harmonies checks all the boxes for me. That insistent bass line simply forces me to tap my feet and nod my noggin furiously. I have no choice. UB40 still going strong after years of hit after hit.
Ub40 will always be Samoan people's fav Band from drink ups to family gatherings, mad love from the Island of Samoa UB40 I grew up listening to UB40 from my dad until now.
2018 it is
Punialavaa play list
Maria, you mean Samoa’s favorite non-Samoan band, that is.

UB 40, Signing of. Strange fruit,. WROTE BY. WROTE AND SANG, by Billy Holliday,.UB40 Did a great cover of the song, but Billy Holliday was living in the time, when all hate was over flowing, the 50ties I think even a.black woman got out of her seat and slapped her in the face, her son had been dragged up and down the street coz he was. black, till he was dead
John Enfield 😎😎
Thus music is soul touching and really fascinating. It puts me in suspense mood.
