This is my 1st time hearing the original, I'm a massive ub40 fan as is a friend, he was insisting ub40 wrote this, I knew they didn't, glad I finally listened to the original, I will definitely find more of their songs, I loved their version

Robin murdered UB40. Should never have been a member from day one, brought nothing to the band, but took much more than he was ever worth. A mannequin would have done more!
I would have been 13yo too, my older sisters boyfriend (8yrs older) got me into them, I begged & begged my mum to let me go to see them in concert with him but she didn’t trust a group of 21/22yo old boys to look after her 13yo daughter and take her 4hrs to London to see them in concert!! I’m now 52yo and in (AUS) and STILL have not been able to see them in concert. The last time they were here no mum to stop me, old enough and excited to finally see them & no one in my family or friends would go with me. Unfortunately my sister boyfriend (now ex) is still in the UK so couldn’t even finally go with him!! 😩

Unfortunately the band have Split but who knows one day may perform together again, ..Fair play to them all, they are still banging out Reggae music regardless, .......Big Love guys !!
