I think what they should do is add xp multipliers for wanted behavior. Win the match? +50% weapon xp. Top obj score? +25% weapon xp. Stayed in a losing match? +10% weapon xp. Joined a game late? +10% weapon xp. Just as some examples of how it could be implemented.

What i see is people with gold mp7s, running around profitting off people trying to play objective and level up guns. They need search and tdm immediately, the grind is getting bad when you're a solo.
Congrats on your wedding coming up. Focus on that. Trust me that your wife is going to be more important than anything else you’ll do in this lifetime.
To incentivize obj play simply make kills only worth 10 points. When these slayers rack up all these kills and ignore the obj they will be placed towards the middle of the team in score. This will cause them to win less game mvps as well which means less recognition. You can also make it so obj score is the only thing that works towards your ultimate.

Getting kills is actually helping out with the objective. But there’s a couple times in a game they can cap B or hold the point down until the team comes back but they don’t and that’s where I fault them.
I feel they should give double xp when win. That’ll incentivize players to win for sure cus I hate teammates that don’t play obj
There should be bonus XP for playing the objective, including additional XP towards charging the ultimate ability, a.k.a. score streak. And I still think that you should get triple XP for kills when the ultimate ability is activated. That would give more of an incentive for people to play the objective to build up their score streak. I also believe there should be a penalty for desertersthat leave mid match
Unfortunately the obj problem will never be fixed and that's something we have to accept. For many people the dopamine of getting kills after kills is amazing (im a bit guilty of this too). For someone like myself whos trying to get all the attachments for guns, I cannot play obj because it doesnt do anything towards the weapon XP which leads me to the incentive that should be obvious. Let obj count towards the obj instead of just straight kills. Adds more incentive for people for obj while also getting weapon xp, and those ppl who still want to get kills can get kills too. As said before tho the problem wont go away. Another way as you said is just kill based obj (TDM) or even FFA deathmatch, gun game will be nice too. I hope they come up with a incentive to play obj because atm for someone who tryna get the attachments for weapon there no incentive to play obj because its a waste of time when i wanna get the attachments for weapons.

Double weapon XP but they BROKE THE HIT REGISTRATION!! It was nearly perfect before the update but now it's horrible!! Firing entire magazine and getting 30 hit Markers but not killing anyone. Plus you gun fails to fire all the time then suddenly dumps the entire magazine all at once. I've even had fun fights where I fire my gun, nothing comes out, I die then right when I respawn it then starts to fire 😮. It's so much worse now.
Also, this has happened several times now. I'll try to throw my fire drone but die, then like an entire minute after I spawn, my drone randomly comes out but it's all glitched and won't register when is it his someone directly. It's just the animation and not really there. So strange.

I think boosting the exp by 1.5x and reducing the requirement to unlock all attachments would be a good balance to exp.
And yet there is this clip of some guy leveling his D50 pistol and went from 27 to 74. Says he did it completely legitimately but I kinda find that really REALLY hard to believe. Especially if someone like Panduh here is talking about 10 levels in a high kill count game being insane. I can only imagine what this other guy did... I mean that is 47 levels...

double xp should be normal xp and double exp event should be like once per season for 1 week or so.
I admit. I dont always play the OBJ while im leveling up my guns. It doesn't help the weapon grind now currently, so the best way to levle up ur guns is to get high kill games.

No. You're clearly getting shot threw walls. Its super annoying. The wrost thing in the game besides cheating. The spider isn't the only annoying ability that's annoying. If your going to nerf the spider than nerf all abilities.

to be able to play "selfish" in xdefiant why don't people play hotshot it is not a team based game and don't bother people in a team based game. then tdm is coming and there you have all the freedom to be "selfish" but take hotspot at least for a temporary replacement
I am not the best player so I always play the objective. They need to add weapon leveling points to players who play the objective. I like to win the match and not just wrack up the kills. My K/D is usually not great but that comes with playing the objective.
But yeah back to the objective talk. I've said it before. All they need to do is give us weapon exp from objective points at half the value. Done. Fixed. It also incentivizes Objective play.
What? So give up on a full xp with a kill for half xp with a cap? Make it make sense. That doesn’t incentivize obj, it just gives another reason to just go around and stack kills.
@@thabruhfrom9444 I think you didn't read it correctly or you are not thinking correctly. Granted I also didn't specify that this is in ADDITION to the kills/assists, my bad for not spelling everything out as implied.
We keep the current exp setup. Aka the kills and assists that we currently have. And in addition, at the end of the match take the total amount of your Objective score, take that number cut it in half and give that number as exp to the weapon used for the match.
So if you do well with kills/assists you get a decent chunk of exp, but if you do that AND stand on a point instead of running past it like a CoD player looking only for kills then you get a massive boost with that too.
Kills get you 100xp each. Some people are bad at getting kills, so they benefit a LOT from the objective in this case.
An example of this system being implemented would be as follows. I'll use myself as an example. A typical game for me is roughly 20-35 kills. And an objective score of roughly 2k-3.2k Let's just take the top number here. 35 kills=3500 weapon exp. 3.2k Objective score=1600 weapon exp. Totaling 5100 weapon exp. Now that sounds a LOT better than only 3500 weapon exp now doesn't it? Especially considering all I had to do is stand around for that 1600 weapon exp.
Now I want you to imagine, what a game would be like in zone control for example, where you have someone on the team that might not be that great at getting kills BUT instead either picks up a blitz shield or the camo suit and hides on the edge of a zone, either not seen or not killable by the enemy team. In so doing, the enemy team ISN'T gaining points and is being hard blocked by that one player that is playing the objective. All the while that one player is getting a massive boost to their Objective score based on Point Defense bonus' that tick EVERY SECOND they block the other team from getting the point. Block long enough and WOW, who would have thought, your team respawned and has made it back to the point and they DIDN'T lose any points to the enemy team because of one smart player that blocked the point for long enough to get their team back on the point, instead of running in and dying instantly to the spray of 3 enemies trying to take the point.
Furthermore if this was the way some people other than me played the game. The games could be longer and that would net more objective points and more kills further increasing the weapon exp.
So... YEAH. Once you understand it correctly I think it fixes the weapon exp issue.

Spider bot isn’t annoying, it’s effective and that’s what an ability should be. Yeah, it glitches here and there but so what, they already addressed that that’s being fixed.
You can shoot them off a teammates’ face I do each time I can. There’s EMP nades & you can just play deadsec & hack them. It’s not like there’s no counters or ways to deal with them.
