Stevan Lezaja too bad he botched that one. He didn't even tune down his guitar. As a wah wah pedal video he should have had this at number one and put more effort into this song. Other than that great video.
REALLY? considering all of his guitars but 2 (which is a world renound standard and expectation and an acoustic) are PRS and he's gotten a free guitar from them and he's endorsed by them
Jaxon Lutzer Man in the Box primarily utilizes a Lead and a Filter sound effect, sounds like a Wah but it doesn't have the same pedal manipulation to it. never heard of a talk-box before....
Man I love the way you play sweet child o mines solo. It's amazing. This video basically explains why a Wah pedal is my favourite pedal. I will never have a pedal board without one.
Man in the box - Alice in Chains I Ain't Superstitious - Jeff Beck All Along the Watchtower - Jimi Hendrix Dazed And Confused - Led Zeppelin Summer Song - Joe Satriani
Cameron Turner, I think it’s actually both, if i remember right i saw a live concert video with jerry using both a talk box & the wah wah pedal..... i might be wrong, idk.
I would add Isaac Hayes' "Theme from Shaft," ELP's "Still, You Turn Me On" plus the intro to Cream's "Tale of Brave Ulysses" and Yes' "The Fish." Some pretty defining moments in these songs.
I really like how you were able to seamlessly integrate your own personal play style into these. Really popped out to me during the sweet child solo. And this all wasn't the same tone, you applied some tricks to get that hendrix sound for example. Fuckin professional shit bud good work.
No "Shaft?" You have made an egregious error. It's the daddy of all wah rhythms. You may not care for the song but it's one the the most iconic 70's pop riffs. It spawned a whole style of r&b rhythm playing and it's just muted wocka wocka wocka! think it ranks next to Voodoo Child (slight return) as the most memorable intro wah lick of all time.
All Along the Watchtower's 3rd solo has the best use of a wah pedal ever. It's not lengthy but every use of the wah has purpose and is flawlessly enunciated.
Charles Pitts -- guitarist and Wah master on the Shaft theme. 4 1/2 minutes of Wah quack heaven with Isaac Hayes silky smooth vocals thrown in for good measure. Damn, what a great song...
I knew Skip. He really introduced the wah pedal to the mainstream! Truly one of the most unknown and underrated guitar player ever! Check out It’s Your Thing by the Isley Brothers!
You deserve a million subscribers. I will be making 881,000 TH-cam accounts, subscribing to you with all of them, and then consistently watching all of your videos for now on with every single one.
Petr Pečenka ml. He sure did right by it. I liked it a lot. I will say, though, that it was a little strange hearing it without all the flange that usually comes with it. Really let the wah shine forth.
Dude you made my day! All I can say is "Wah!!! Wah!!!"... I live in Karachi, Pakistan. Urdu is the official language out here in Pakiland and "Wah" means "Awesome or Brilliant" in Urdu. :)
Trucker Kev The Paid Tourist - Agreed ,tasteful Terry Kath wah useage . Also crush of love Satriani , entire tune a wah is used hard to narrow to just 10
Ah.. c'mon, The Unforgiven 3 has an amazing solo. i'm not even a huge metallica fan.. but damn, that one song really hits the spot! if you don't know it, just listen to it!
It works every time! i just went to unforgiven 3.. i fastforwarded to the solo. - The way he smashes that solo.. uh, it gives me the chills every single time. i can listen to it over and over again and get the chills. it's no shit, the only song doing that to me at this level lol.
*My top 8 Wah Wah riffs (random ranking): The Stooges - 1969 Led Zeppelin - No Quarter RHCP - Blood Sugar Sex Magic Guns N'Roses - Civil War solo The Soundtrack of Our Lives - Mother One Track Mind Ash - Lose Control Metallica - Disposable Heroes intro Sepultura - Refuse Resist*
Finally someone gives some love to White Room. Such an underrated masterpiece.
Takes me straight to Flavor Town.
Guy Fieri cream in general are amazing. swalbr is a fucking class tune
Eoghain murphy Yeah Cream and Smash Mouth are some bands that take me faster to Flavortown than barbecue sauce on virtually anything
>underrated
Agreed!! It has everything! My favourite lyrics ever... And Cream, in my opinion, is the greatest trio ever.

Stevan Lezaja or all along the watchtower
Matthew Hugg Voodo Cihld is better
St. Jimmy me too
When you say Kirk Hammett 3 times at a mirror, Kirk Hammett will appear and give you 5 wah pedals.
SupraMusic I wish 🤘🤘🤟🤟 Rock on
I tried it. It worked.
If that worked, I’d be rich.
I wish this was real
be careful, once you conjure up the demon Hammett tone you can never get rid of it.

Lonely Potato agreed voodoo child all the way
sweeping in a slash solo? anarchist
what's the point?
say that Slash can't Sweep? Because that's not true at all.
El Milico Frustrado Slash doesn't sweep really ever. I'd be surprised if he could. Seeing as he's never once done it
He doesnt tap as well....
It’s not his style so there’s no reason. It’s not like BB King pulled ridiculous whammy bar tricks and tapped like Van Halen
@@fenderbento I'd be pretty surprised if he couldn't tap. Everyone that played the guitar for 5+ years knows how to tap.
"Man In The Box" - Alice In Chains
"Asylum Choir" - Motorhead
"Lie" - Dream Theater
"Migra" - Santana
"Sick And Tired" - Black Sabbath
I was surprised there was no Alice in Chains on the list. Dirt would be a good one, too.
***** Uses both
Jaxon Lutzer Man in the Box primarily utilizes a Lead and a Filter sound effect, sounds like a Wah but it doesn't have the same pedal manipulation to it. never heard of a talk-box before....
Steven Vachon home by dream theater
"This Love" - Pantera
Best whammy bar moments ever?
That would literally just be Steve vai
That would be in the 'worst' list
Ending to the ...And Justic for All solo.
Domination by Pantera
Dylan Malakovski that would be slayer or pantera
If you play with your wah pedal while saying kirk hammet he will appear and steal your pedal
Best fucking comment ever
Play what? Video games? Board games? TTRPGs? I gotta know man
@@adwitatherealadwita Deez nuts

Kirk Hammett likes this video.
He watched it, liked it and got the metallica band to hit like as well
Who is krik hammet ?? I only know Kirk Wahmet
And Tom Morello.
WAH VIDEO
*Plays every Kirk Hammet solo*
Théo Chapdelaine Puppets’ solo or Creeping Death’s don’t have wah on them
CJ Boii I’m sure your fun at parties

Cameron Turner The solo for it is wah wah
Every song- Metallica
Cameron Turner, I think it’s actually both, if i remember right i saw a live concert video with jerry using both a talk box & the wah wah pedal..... i might be wrong, idk.
There was no doubt that Voodoo Child would be on this list :)
Yes, because it is THE best Wah moment in history of mankind.
I think Hendrix - All Along The Watchtower has better wah. Was very surprised this wasn't' on this list.
geekweezul was just thinking the same thing. aatw has an incredible mindblowing solo
WisdomVendor1 voodoo CHILE! smh
Hineman no, not on the original uk release, its called voodoo chile (slight return)

I think is thei best wha solo :)
DJC9000 Productions what moment would you choose then?
the outlaw torn, wherever i may roam
out of the fact that Kirk overuse the wha pedal this days, he have pretty wicked sicked awesome wha guitar solos

The wah pedal makes a “wah” sound
Kind of sad that the end of Dani California wasn't here, but some great picks for sure
Take It Easy - I'm Easily Offended glad u mentioned it:D
Finally somebody actually plays the sweet child solo in a way that doesn't sound boring, good job ;)
I really like how you were able to seamlessly integrate your own personal play style into these. Really popped out to me during the sweet child solo. And this all wasn't the same tone, you applied some tricks to get that hendrix sound for example. Fuckin professional shit bud good work.
Notable switch to a Strat for Hendrix..!

Love the way that you play the ES solo, totally different to the original and totally different to the way I play it, and I love that!
Guitars and amps are just wonderful!
All Along the Watchtower's 3rd solo has the best use of a wah pedal ever. It's not lengthy but every use of the wah has purpose and is flawlessly enunciated.
Thin Lizzy - "Don't Believe A Word". The 2 min 19sec version, NOT the extended version.
I'm sooooo glad you put Cream on here. The old Clapton and wah days were badass. Nice playing man and keep up the good work on your videos
I know it's technically a talk box, but the solo in Jambi by Tool has some of the best "wah" sound ever.
Wherever I may roam has an epic wah moment in one of Kirks leads towards the end, he holds the notes and makes them wah, so good.
sweet child tho
Charles Pitts -- guitarist and Wah master on the Shaft theme. 4 1/2 minutes of Wah quack heaven with Isaac Hayes silky smooth vocals thrown in for good measure. Damn, what a great song...

Aerology Guitars Killer solo but I won't call it one of the best wah moments

Oh man! The wah in Summer Song by Joe Satriani is fucking awesome. Wish you would've included that
3:02 I LOVE THIS BEND!!! I don't know why.
COME WITH IT NOW!! 0:17
I was really surprised to see White Room here. Appreciate it man
That might've just been the smoothest Surfing with the alien I've ever heard.
Petr Pečenka ml. He sure did right by it. I liked it a lot. I will say, though, that it was a little strange hearing it without all the flange that usually comes with it. Really let the wah shine forth.
I’m glad you included Sweet Child O Mine and Enter Sandman they’re some of my favorite solos
That was the best version of the enter sandman solo I think I ever heard
A personal favourite is RATM's cover of I'm Housin', during the solo Morello whips out an insane wah that sounds kind of like a cougar roar!
Alice In Chains - Rain When I Die
Oh yes!
yeahhh!
I love the closed right hand playing. It sounds so consistent
man, where is Alive in Chains in this list? the legendary wah of Cantrell must be between the 3 first places
Seeing "Surfing With the Alien" on the list put a smile on my face. THANKS MATE!
I think the Metallica solo should have been Battery as opposed to Enter Sandman...
Battery is probably the better solo, but Sandman is more iconic by far
@@tylercady3985 the most weak from master easyly
25 or 6 to 4 - Terry Kath's brilliant solo, when the wah kicks in... shivers.

All the best players have great wah solos the best pedal effect just makes the guitar sing speak wail whine cry with emotion
Home - Dream Theater. Nuff said.

I think "Man In The Box" must be in this list - Jerry Cantrell is great, bro
Nice playing, cool video, but you didn't have dimebag in there, ha jk, cool ,mucho gusto
Sick tone and playing!! I loved that you played some Cream, although I was expecting Tale Of Brave Ulysses, sick wah sections in that one. Cheers
Dani Cali?
Tommy Ryan was waiting for it as well!
Evan Loken Frusciante did way Better wah solos
My personal favourite is Dave Murray's solo in The Fallen Angel by Iron Maiden ...... that ouuuwwwaaaah sound is the epitome of wah !!!
err... I think you forgot No Quarter, THE best wah solo in existence.
If you listen to For Whom the Bell Tolls, the wah adds such a good touch. Thansk Kirk Wahment!
Sad..25 or 6 to 4 should of been there. Terry was amazing

or battery? that solo had wah , and it's sounded badass
This guy is probably my favourite TH-cam guitar dude. Monster player.
dunno but my personal wah wah song is doesn't remind me solo by audioslave
be yourself is another good wah solo
I think be yourself is more about auto wah than pedal wah
This is the best performance of the Enter Sandman solo I've ever seen really!!
I'm missing Chicago - 25 or 6 to 4
I'm adding this to my playlist. This was a awesome video.
no petrucci?

I was expecting Lines in the sand or Wither :/
Niloy Hossain something like the first solo in Beyond This Life would've been perfect, if he can pull it off.
Spooky Skeleton, yeah, those solos are great, but I was waiting for Home riff
