Charlie looks into the lies TV tells us. He reviews Heroes, Have I Been Here Before? and The X Factor. Nicholas Parsons talks about Saturday night entertainment.
@sortedm Everyone who searched for the sight after watching screenwipe must have made that mistake - surprised they didn't put the url on screen every time charlie introduced the segment.
@Vault101Reject Yea BBC have no ads. Personally I feel that this show is not only fucking funny, but that it does actually penetrate through the whimsical beguilement I confess I allow to come over me sometimes. Even though I get drawn to it, the content does inspre me to remember that I dont have to think like the heard nor be acepted by them, and for something to at least help push your mind out of itself beyond what its showing, is quite a lot more than what 'normal' TV does.
@Jdjohnjd That is true to a degree. Im sure its not as popular as the garbage zombie nation subscribes itself to, because this audience is smaller in number as always, and most of the pop wants to believe in what the TV shows. Personally, it helps me wake up my dozing critical thinking again which goes beyond the need to feel that I can sit here and watch something and feel that I am not alone. Which is more than all but a few of what TV has to offer does.
have i been here before is such bullshit, if you were a human in a "past life" how would you be able to remember anything because you have a different brain now.
"Jock's dead" "What happened to Jock" "Got killed"
Ah.
"Jock's dead."
"What happened to Jock?"
"Got killed."

Truthbot (4:18) always makes me laugh.

When I saw that American special, I was like, "that bar does not look like its in America." Win for me!
David Firth needs his own show.
I love the fact that Dane's greatest hits was in the CD pile :D
Oh geez, I thought "Have I Been Here Before" was going to be about Alzheimer's disease
Takeaway from this episode: Do not put steaming tampons into electronic devices such as truthbots.

The Dawkins squirrel was funnier than it should have been.
