When the cover is better than the original! Thank you, LLB!
The 70’s Ram Jam cover was better than the original ..
Otherwise known as, outshine the master.
I’ll definitely co-sign that statement! This is awesome❤❤❤
@@craigpimlott204bingo….this is a very good cover, but ram jam still rules.
@@sloanchessman5783 same 🎯
Not sure folks grasp how difficult this tune is - until you start to count and keep up with the meter. Well done y'all.
So True!
Indeed.
So syncopated, fantastic 😊
Extremely complex song with a ton of nuances & accents. Timing to perfection! ❤🎉
This is unbelievably awesome 👍🔥🔥🔥
Wow! The drummer really kicked some serious hoop-de-hoop on this one!
The guitar licks and sweeps in this song are some of the most difficult to repeat....The Lexington Lab Band had NO trouble whatsoever bringing this cover to life. Outstanding job folks !
Once everybody leaves the house, I am cranking this up!!
In baseball, they have the All-Stars. In music, we have the Lexington Lab Band. Y'all are GREAT!
This is an aggressive piece/style of music and You All beat the crap out it
What a great reply, yes they certainly did Lol! :D
What really blows my mind is the fact that you're performing a song that damn near sounds just like the original "studio" recording. Freaking awesome ❤️
You totally Nailed it, the song. !!!
And made it Your Own !!
🍺🏜️
I’m playing the song and the wife is tapping her feet. Just another great cover from LLB, can’t wait until September
1977, I'm 7 years old, my brother is 17....sitting in his 67 chevelle with 6x9 pioneers in the rear window.....first time I was exposed to Ram Jam... you took me back there.....thank you LLB!!!!
Check out the original ram jam music video for Black Betty. That’ll take you back.
Good old 70s yard party
As tight as you could ever wish, no easy feat. Astounding.
SMOK'IN HOT DEAD ON !!! Man, you folks KILL IT Every single Time !!
I mean... DAMMMMMMMMMNNNN, people! Everybody brought their "A" game tonight for sure! Outstanding LLB cover!
Ram Jam and Black Betty are smiling.
Absolutely spot on! You guys deserve and earn and should have views in the half million range. Specially with a song like this. Musicians will understand. The "start / stop - timing" in this song is tough!
Wow. Awesome cover. This is an awesome song. You guys killed this one. Roger showed up and showed out on vocals. The guitar playing and drumming is out of this world. Keep on rocking it guys. Yall are the best. Love this.
Somebody call 911, cuz y'all just burned the house down! What a banger!
I believe this is now the oldest song LLB has performed by a country mile, and what a performance it was! Everybody brought it! ❤❤❤
I remember spending 2 whole practices in high school trying to get this song down, drummers hated playing it because they had to play it like the record and not just play whatever they wanted too, but people loved this tune!
wow, damn, WOW, DAMN. This band just keeps getting better.
Who else smiles every time they see that LLB has a new video out?
Heck Yeah! That was fire!!🔥
Fantastic! I don’t even need to listen all the way before giving it a like and comment.
Very difficult number to cover. OUTSTANDING ! !
SHOULD BE ILLEGAL TO HAVE THIS MUCH FUN!
In the time it took me to listen to this, I grew a mullet, bought a t-top Camaro with mud tires, and called different 10 people "brother!" You guys rock!!!
Nice
Great, BUT - did you take those T-Tops off, and turn the factory stereo (or what's left of it) up so loud that the speakers shred the cardboard cones? If so, you have achieved Black Betty Nirvana!
Camaro with mud tires ...lmao
@@eskieman3948 Pioneer head, Alpine EQ!!!😎
Lmao ! That's great brother ! I was thinkin the same! Great times they were my friend ... Great times ...
Your drummer looks like if Mountain Dew was a person. SWEET! ROCK IT BABY!
You made my day
@@tuckerplaysdrumsalot ha your welcome!
That may be the best TH-cam comment I’ve ever seen on any video ever
Not only can he rock the drums, he was great in Talladega Nights! 😉
Wild! That’s a tight one to cover. Nailed it.
Oh my!! Y’all knocked that one out of the park!!
More cow bell…
and more Jessica! 😎
Best cover band ever. 🙏
This is no cover, this is a reimagining!
Excellent as always. Didn't realize how difficult this song was until I saw it played.
Any song that starts with a gong crash is gonna be awesome!! Great performance, as always! 👍👍
Needs more cow bell though 😂
For what its worth my name isnt Juan and tell the drummer i raced stock cars in the 90s . This was a Kick azz version , well done all!!!
Gets better every time I listen. Which is a lot.
It just speaks to the absolute professionalism and verve of every member of LLB that you all can reproduce such a complicated song loved by millions, and it carries every bit of the same spirit and energy the original does! Bravo! 👏👏👏😃🤍🤍🤍
Wow. Absolutely unbelievable. You guys took one of the hardest songs to play at any instrument and once again nailed it.
I've heard the original many times but never seen it played. This cover was fantastic, especially Tucker's drumming. Great sound from only four guys.
Smokin hot cover!
Just when you thought LLB couldn't get any better...a long comes this!
1000% awesome job guys. All I can say is wow. Very much on point
along with the alman brothers jessica, this group of musicians have, i think, produced the greatest set the LLB has ever done, both tunes very difficult and played perfectly, Thanks guys
You guys nailed it. Man that was great. Keep on rocking me.
Heyyy Mike and everyone at LLB!! What an awesome cover!’.. you all sound amazing!!’ Great drumming and super guitar work!’ 🎶🎶👍🎉
WOW ! WOW! I thought, 'No Way'! Ram Jam! Awesome cover yall!! Great1!
You can see how hard the boys are working on this one! Not an easy cover - but you nailed it! Awesome!
Man this is right on...close your eyes and listen to this, the original and that of Spiderbait...all superb, happy eardrums...LLB you guys kill it each time!
I always appreciate the instrument choices for certain songs, such as the classic SG for this classic song! Sounding better than the original. You guys rock!🤘🎸
All I can say is you must play this one in September!!!
Yea, that is what I am talking about, LLB You Guys Rock!!!!! Thank you for putting it out there for us!!!
two thumbs up…congratulations
Always loved this song and you do it really justice 👌Bravo, gentlemen 👏Greetings from France 🇫🇷 🎶
Drummer brought his A-Game for this difficult song. Nice job everyone!
Pardon me while I pick my jaw up off the floor...again. Nailed it!
Y'all Boys are TIGHT ! .. Remind when I first heard the original Allman Brothers at Love Valley , North Carolina .. wOw , were they ever tight .. It was as if they were playing with a Good Hive Mind situated dead center in The Zone ~*~
Holy cow!! Every time you put one out, I say that it’s my new favorite. And you didn’t disappoint this time either!! Fantastic production!! 🇺🇸👍
Trail blazing! This will be the original "cover" that all the pretenders will have to measure up to. It was only natural that Roger Coleman brought the vocal to life. Everyone was on fire at 117 beats per minute. Scorcher!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Never fell in love with this song until I heard llb sing it
Great job playing one of those lightning it a bottle tunes. I would have said that this song was the essence of Southern rock, but the band was from NYC. A great song remade by the great LLB.
Props to LLB for covering the ENTIRE song! Drummer awesome with the double kicks as was the rest of the band. Nice treat, thanks folks!
#FANfriggintastic Nailed it.
#LLBStrong
there are bits of the drums there that are Tommy Ramone speed.
Hey, Seuss, what a cover!
Don't think for one minute this song is easy it is not but these guys nailed it as always I commend them on this one.
This is one of those tunes that seems simple but that would take a lot of work to get right. Nicely done.
Y’all are killing me! I can’t stop listening to y’all and look like you are enjoying playing it as much as I do listening. Song fits Rogers voice perfectly and dang !staying together on Black Betty is miraculous. It’s a tuffy👍 4:09
Looking forward to seeing you guys have millions subscriptions in no time😊😊😊😊
This song is one of the most challenging, syncopated beat songs out there. You did a fantastic job keeping it tight. That rhythm is no joke.
Great job by everyone on a tricky song to play! More gong!!
Saw the title and said "no way!" That was awesome! Not much to hide behind when performing that song and you did great!!
Tucker wilson sporting the 70’s glen frey tash is something to behold! and roger slaying the SG! Pair of baddass dudes!!
A tough piece of music and so expertly done. I know you guys had fun with this one!!!
Your skills amaze me with every video!
I've heard this from RAM JAM quite a few times. I thought this was them. Terrific Cover!!!!
I was so impressed by the left handed guitar I looked up Stephan Laplante. Thumbs way up. That’s a tough rhythm piece.
Absolutely fantastic. That part around 2:30 is incredible. LLB takes great songs and adds to them and makes them out of this world! I find myself buying songs done by LLB on iTunes is stead of the original.
Hell yeah! Ya'll nailed it!
Hot damn!!! love it!
Proud to be born
aised\living in Lexington...you always Rock
You can feel the heart and soul put into this!
Great classic rock song from’70s
Love to see the pros get after it; fire boyz 👍
I've always thought this was a weird song, but this rendition is true to the original. Great job!
There great thank you guys😊
Wow - just - WOW!! Another great cover from LLB!!
Thank you all for keeping great music alive and well!!
Better than the original! Nobody does classics better.
Now that’s the way it’s done! 🎉
Couldn't click this video fast enough when I saw the song title and the band lineup. The excitement was justified. Great performance.
As usual, no surprise. Badass cover. And the drummer kicks ass!
It is refreshing to see a southpaw musician.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 That is a very tough song to play that tight.
Wow! Love the video editing and sound and lighting. The musicianship is amazing. “I was like, I’m kinda familiar with this song.” Then I watched the video and LLB taught me so much more about the intricacies of this tune than I imagined. The close up of the musicians at key points displays the precision needed and like watching the Blue Angels…I’m blown away.
KILLER cover. Not many folks know this, but Ram Jam was fronted by Bill Bartlett. He was the guitarist in The Lemon Pipers, who had a number one hit in 1968 with My Green Tambourine. It was one of the very first 'psychedelic rock" tunes.
REALLY enjoyed this one, guys!! Excellent! Always look forward to the latest release from LLB!
The guitars KILLER... The drum fills AMAZING!
You guys are having too much fun! This song has always rocked.
Dammit son !!!! -- Y'all took this one and set it up on the top shelf.
Impressive as hell, as always. Slick AND tight. Well done guys, really well done!
Great job Tucker!! Tommy Aldridge, and this song in particular, is no easy feat to cover and you did it brilliantly!! CUDOS!!
OUTSTANDING !!!!!!! this is as close to the actual song as i have ever heard ANY ONE do ....... if you dont go on the voice alone you swear your listening to the actual song, but the voice isnt to far off its self !!! VERY NICE JOBE GENTS !!!!!
Now this song rocks, put some good headphones on and close your eyes !
