There are good musicians and acts around, problem are the so called "billionaires" that run the music and entertainment industry, they don't want to take risks and so only support acts they can control and are easy to mass produce.
The cycle continues. If those boys only knew how much they resemble their grandparents that were my generation from the 70’s. It was a joy to watch them.
This song is a hundred years old. Literally. The Ram Jam version came out 38 years after Lead Belly's 1939 release. And he probably acquired it from earlier folk songs.
This song originally dates from around 1910 and was a workers' song by black slaves. It is attributed to the blues musician Leadbelly here is an older version from 1933 th-cam.com/video/tiCEVl_9-MM/w-d-xo.html
The acoustic lead player has some mad skills! People who don't play guitar can't truly appreciate what he is doing and the difficulty involved. They did a great job!!
@@misterzero8667Did you know that only 10% of the entire world population say that they, “play guitar?” Now, start subtracting…not everyone is at a level of talent to play lead. Any lead. Then consider the acoustic action over that of the electric. We’re talking maybe 3-5% of the population of the world now. Don’t take away from donaldmcmillan5529’ s post and sell the musician in the video short.
Love what you do lads. Never let a label, manager or music industry suit, change a thing about what you guys are doing. Great chemistry, sound amazing and super likeable.
These guys remind me of when I was young, only I didn't play by the ocean... or have any musical talent... or 3 friends that were conscious at any given time. I did have a lot of hair. Ah, the memories.
These young men are on fire, respect that they love and respect real rock and roll blues. Also, dig their hair grow it long while you can. Please keep these videos coming.
Holy sh*t guys! You nailed that one! Not an easy song to play with all the changes and breaks. It was a favorite of ours on the radio in the 70’s. I’ve heard it recently on an oldies station and remember it well. I’ve never heard a copy that even came close to what you guys just did! On acoustic/electric no less at the beach. Everything was dead on man! Bass, rhythm, lead, drums and vocals sounded just dead on man. Even the harmony leads into the bridge just perfect. Wow! Just Wow! Exceptional musicianship! Mahalo nui loa, aloha. 🤙🏼
Thanks Adam. Much appreciated. Especially since Sony claimed this video and it didn’t even get monetised 🤦🏻♂️ Unbelievable Thanks for your donation mate

Every person more than held up their end. Man, I rocked to this when I was a long-haired young man. Outstanding work young men. That drum is obviously a musical instrument. I have never seen one before, but clearly, one can get a relatively full percussion range out of it.
I had to listen to this about 5 times and every time it’s better than the first. The drum part is the hardest and he nailed it! The whole song is pretty hard and every part was f*cking flawless! Wow! There’s an extended version with the drum solo that goes on and on and that’s what really made this song great way back when. It was one of those incredible one-offs that just spun your head around man. Every single moment is intense and rhythmic to the max! You guys just captured every feeling in this old classic so well. Thanks so much guys. Wow man. 🤙🏼
The more I see and listen to these guys, the more and more impressed I am. I’ve heard anyone worth listening to over the past 50 years and I’m here to tell anyone who’ll listen, this band is the real deal.
I first heard this song as a teen, fifteen as I recall. Fast forward to now & at sixty one I still appreciate this fine piece of music..greetings from England 🙋🏻♀️🇬🇧
Omg the hair! I only dated musicians in the 80’s and 90’s. I love it you guys have the best hair ever! Love the song, I was listening to this in the80’s I believe
Brilliant!! I was in my teens through the 70s and this number was epic when it hit the charts in the UK. This is when ‘air guitars’ were first used in anger!! Fantastic, tight rendition guys. I don’t know what I love more about this video - that you have all pulled this off so brilliantly, or that you are all brothers and have done this (my brother and I can’t be in the same room for five minutes without arguing and falling out). That you all have 70s hair also rocks!! Best regards from the Giant’s Causeway coast of Northern Ireland. 😄✌️🎸☘️
Oldie but goodie. Guys looked like they had fun with this one. Everyone was on point. An acoustic Black Betty Well done guys. Camera man getting close up while the guys were jammin was on Point as well.Nice work all around
I love TH-cam! Watching these four young men go from little groms to outstanding musicians and rockstars is so cool. Koby looked like he was just out of diapers in those old videos. Keep rocking
Ha, no big stage and flashing lights, nah, bare essentials and still pump out good stuff. 👍 Guys, if you ever make it big, jsut remember who you are and respect each other before the pressures of contracts and record companies fk you up. Cheers! Mick
An acoustic version of Black Betty played by young men! There IS hope in this world!
Lot of leads there for true acoustic guitars but I know what you mean 👍🏻
There are good musicians and acts around, problem are the so called "billionaires" that run the music and entertainment industry, they don't want to take risks and so only support acts they can control and are easy to mass produce.
lol, I'll hope with you.
2024 and 4 young guys play this song. 1000000 Thanks

It was a joy to watch them.
Personally I like the guy with curly hair.
Why can’t the world be full of people and things like this instead of what we have? Life affirming.
These brothers are jamming a song first recorded in 1939, so well done, today they got me smiling.
You are right 💯
The World is full of people and things like this.
Well said!

You have me by five years but I didn't hear the original until about twenty-five years ago. Good stuff, I love this acoustic version. Nice job fellas.
I am 60 now. So great to see the young love this song still. Welldone! 💜

@@kalleschwowell8062 - Thanks for that. I’m betting there’s plenty more examples, too. Music is amazing.
