@@ronin_boogz greenteck doesn't know how to strutt, just because you throw an arm angle or two out doesn't mean you're strutting...for one he doesn't have the proper timing and technique that's used. A lot of poppers try to do that mickey mouse version of strutting, but that ain't it.

This battle is a proof of showing Greenteck's high level musicality and technique when compared to Hoan. Although Hoan is incredible, he is just a beat killer pretty much.

Greenteck looked on a different level than everyone at this event. This wasn't even close imo, neither was Kei, Kite was the only one that got close.
Hoan's beats are better..Hoan's more cute and creative than greenteck..for example : hoan's face is really cute,funny : 4:45- 4: 49 between..

Greenteck nailed all kinds of songs in this event, even when many of them sound bland or nasty.
I know Hoan has a big "fan base" and this may hurt, but I never get Hoan's dance and I don't think he's good on this battle. I know he has unique style and can kill certain type of songs. But his style doesn't look funky to me at all. And when music doesn't fit, his dance is so cringy to watch, e.g. 2:24. And when he dances to old funky music, all he does is hit the beat.
I don't like him either
respect for getting on the floor and doing his thing but yeah noticed the same thing (0 funk whatsover)
His musicality is insane though. Look the last song. Greenteck just hit the one and the 2s but hoan also hit the high notes and his speed changes are insane.
Always laugh at the music selection guys in the comments. At this level, you should be able to pop to anything and everything. Greenteck kills any song or any genre. Hoan does too. Green just outpopped hoan here. That's why he won.
Unless the dj played completely terrible songs neither dancer could get into, or songs that aren't popping friendly, they should be able to pop to anything.
When I watch this video for the battle, I felt hoan a lot more. On the other video I though green smoked hoan. I still think green def won this, but I dug hoans rounds too.
I am not complaining but i do think more electric songs with a lot of different sfx that crop up suit hoans style more than greens and hoan probably would have won then. I think hip hop and funk are what green kills best he is so clean and definitely more varied than hoan tho they happen to be my 2 favourite poppers. Green is just killing everyone right now and looks unstoppable. green is more feel with some musicality and hoan is more musicality with some feel imo.
The music wasn't even bad, it was great! I think some people are just wanting to hear new school sounds over old.
No, thats, as you said, style - musicality has nothing to do with style, thats why its a different word...to describe how the movement (regardless of style) connects with the music in the moment; while style is the way in which the said movement is preformed. Did that clear things up a bit.
