Greenteck was incredible! He finally hit the sweet spot between his flow and creativity, between 2009 and 2013, and his technical mastery between 2014 and 2015. He got back to be imaginative and grow, while stepping-up his popping techniques (he hits harder than he used to in his early years...).

I've been popping and Funk styling for a long time. Grew up learning from Wigz, EBs, Air Force Crew, MEDIA Circus, this cat Greentech, is the best. He's lost battles, won many more, but his best rounds are the best I've ever seen. I never thought I'd see another dancer on the level of Wigz and the ogs like Pete, Suga, Taco, Skeeet, Mr Animation, Chuco, Sam, the list goes on. Green is a special talent. Legendary skill ,musicality and showmanship. Unbelievable! This clip is one of many that cements him as one of the best ever.
Honorable mentioned to Kite, Gouchon, Hoan, Hilton and Bosch, Kai, so many cats from Asia. The style lives all over the globe. So happy to see the style living and progressing. It's an artform. Expression at its finest. Amazing to watch and gives me so much inspiration to progress my own style. We learn from each other's innovations. Keep it moving, keep it grooving. Funk style for life!

Nowadays, I see the battles where some dancers are more laid back and I think this is what triggered it.
Hozin gained a lot of weight, and changed his style absolutely, maybe we should wait for couple of years, and he will drill his new style to the next level!
He just needs to get a better hairstyle, or wear a hat. It makes a difference.

I am a big fan of dancers rather than battlers ^_^ Hozin's dance ability only keeps increasing :3 By this time, he knows everything apart from high level tutting. :3 It is up to him what to use in a battle lol, he is just playing with what he knows :3 Regardless of whether he wins or not does not change the fact that he is still on top 3 of best poppers excluding the OGs.

Yep, he showed Hozin a little bit of the hood. People from China and Japan can copy moves, but it's hard to fabricate style, precision, experience, and soul. Some got it, some don't. Kite has got it, see but he's been poplocking for a while doe.

Was surprised how easy green smoked him here. Hozin is sick, but green was on a different level. Hozin has to go back to the drawing board
Teck was in the zone. His popping was crisp, hard hits, smooth waves, tuts and spins were on point. He was really grooving. He seems to do really well with R&Bish songs, his musicality really comes forth. Hozin started out strong but it's almost like he fizzled out.
+Jason Han yea he def struggled here and looked a little tired. Didn't seem he was into the music. He was more so dancing to it while green was dancing with it. Green has my favorite style. Everything is so clean and crisp and he has so much groove. You can tell he just understands it in a deeper level like gucchon and other legends

Totally agree with you Ryan, Here's the problem with most dancer's from different countries, you can fabricate the style of dance to the various beats, but it's hard to fabricate the soul, groove, technique, and precision of dance. For instance GreenTech and Slim Boogie with their moves are clean, precise and very creative. They aren't just content with poppin on beat but grooving and poppin on beat with alot of class and style, and that's why they are very hard to beat. Now don't get me wrong there are alot of dancers that are very good but to me these 2 stand out to me the most. And as you have a good eye for dance and a couple of guys that clearly see where Hozin stands,(Which I think he's pretty good)...This performance from him was sloppy, he was just catching the beats by just poppin with no precision and exerting way to much energy for nothing, when you see how precise and clean Green was exerting half the amount of energy. It's hard to fabricate true musicality and soul for music and Green has it for shooow!...
