I'm so surprised that Animen's piano arrangement is such similar to LiSA's original singing. Besides, it also reminded me of the first inspiration for listening to my favorite piano music just the same as that of listening to Ru's Piano in the former days! ^.^
I'm not sure how other people who have or have not attempted Animenz's arrangements would view this, but for me it definitely feels like Animenz have had improved so damn much from before. His sound have matured a lot (not sure if it's cuz of the new piano/recording equipment or his touch) and there is a sweet ring in every note. More importantly, his arrangements have become much more stacked and have a natural flow about it. Everything seems to fit in the picture. Before, even in his more popular arrangements, there were bits that seemed out of place when I was attempting them. Each part of the arrangement did not link together. But now it has become much more complete - with a style or main theme in each arrangement as well. The arrangement of Kizuna Music has to be one of the most unforgettable ones ever. It's sad to see his videos getting much less views now, since all his 2020 arrangements, in my opinion, far surpass the 'golden period' of Animenz. But I sure hope Animenz won't be demotivated from that, and surely he would reach the same glory again. Stay safe & healthy guys.

I know how much effort it takes (being a pianist myself), how much time and ho wmany different arrangements are composed until you hit the final one which accurately fills in all the beautiful strings, pedal points, beats and synths in anime music......the original compositions and the piano versions, both turn into different masterpieces on their own! LiSA song always make me chill especially in the chorus part, my emotion start bursting out and sometimes i even got carried away playing LiSA song on piano, cheers!
So: I think this is my favorite arrangement from the ones you did these last weeks. Many reasons to that. Well first, the song in itself, which has a huge nostalgia impact on me since it's one of the first I've learned on piano almost 5 years ago. And I would like to learn this one in the future, which brings me to my second point: the variety of techniques. It's a thing I always enjoyed in your arrangements, the fact that you uses different techniques from your classical repertoire to "garnish" the arrangement, make it flourish, in a way; here, the occasional arpeggios and runs on the first half, the surprising glissando and special mention to these 16th at 3:48 which took me off guard. Last but not least, the fact, as you say, you're letting the music breathe. Indeed, the work on nuance and dynamics here seems very appropriate and natural. It allows to underline the melody, but also to give the more technical and polyphonic segments even more impact. Great job once again, curious to hear what you'll offer in the future. Take care!
Louis R. Thank you! It took me actually longest to finish this arrangement, (compared to the other pieces since 2020), because I was trying really hard to find the perfect balance in the flow of music. Reading your comment really makes me happy, because the hard work has paid off at the end 😄
This cover is amazing, I've been listening to it in loop just trying to imagine myself being able to play at least parts of it. Please, don't stop sharing with us your masterpieces, you are truly an inspiration for most of us. Animenz, we miss you so much. I hope everything goes wonderfully with you and your family.
This is so nostalgic, calming and just good. It brings me back to when I was younger listening to this. I couldn’t buy courage in Japanese so I listened to this in the long car rides on trips. It’s a good memory. Thank you, Aminenz.
LiSa always manages to bring a song to the next level and you somehow always manage to keep that level up when making and playing a piano arrangement of it... You both just never fail to amaze, or should I say "animaze" me!
I am just with tears in my eyes, well thats a while ago 😢 Hearing this and having on my mind how I began my piano journey just about 2 years ago. My mind just screaming to improve at it every day, day in day out. Now it's just being part of my daily live I am really thankfull for that. As a kid I always liked music in general, the instrument I liked most of them all was and still is the piano I just never talked to my parents about it back then. I always had a interest in learning how to play the piano but never started to do so back then. At the time I bought a piano I was so happy I finally made enough money to buy one and start this beautifull journey and improve so much thanks to my teacheras well. Thank you to all the piano anitubers as well that got me highly into playing anime music :) Love for the community ❤❤❤❤❤
Haha I'm starting my journey man so I resonate with your comment. I've already learned a few songs as I got my piano back in October. It was a late birthday present from my mother so I was super stoked because I had an interest in piano as I've grown. It was and still is guitar! I been playing that for 15 years now so it's been a long time with guitar! Now I'm just focused on piano for a while because I wish to catch up! I'm happy because I've already made a serious amount of progress and the reason for that is because guitar and piano are kinda similar so I feel like I had a head start 😌. I don't mean for this to come off as a humble brag because I still wanna play piano like animez one day. Atleast learn a piece like this one here haha! Cheers to you man! Cheers to Animez and cheers to all of you!
this song was actually the song that started my interest in anime song piano cover. Theisther had one of the best shirushi piano like 5 or 6 years ago I can't remember. I was looking for the song in YT when I stumble upon his work. It was beautiful. This is a more adventurous version, but still a great cover!
It's so refreshing hearing these older songs again. I feel like I'm traveling back in time to when I first became an anime fan. Thank you so much for continuing to share these arrangements. Excited to what you put out in the future.
Something about your covers really hits that nostalgic spot in me, I can't thank you enough for continuing with all these beautiful arrangements! I get so excited to see the clock nearing that premier time! Can't wait for your next video :)
My favorite arrangement from you since the start of your weekly uploads, it felt so accurate to the original yet so creative. Truly a pleasure to listen to, I can't wait to listen to what Animenz has instored for us in the future! Edit: Here is some suggestions for your next upload, since LiSA's songs are so great, I wanted you to try Crossing Field or Catch the Moment.
It really is what he said. It just feels right when you are listening to it but when you realize what techniques he used, it makes the rendition more amazing.
I'm back here...crying...in my heart... I was wondering why haven't Animenz updated here for nearly a month, so I went to the Butter-Fly remake video, which was the latest upload. But it turns out to be his last upload here, in this channel, probably even his last video under the name Animenz on TH-cam... (please refer to the comments under that video for details, but to be short, Animenz got banned from this channel.) It's like something has been taken away from me. At one point, Animenz was the reason I chose not to give up piano and went so far in music arrangement for anime songs. I had been learning music since 3 and started to play the piano at 5, but when I was 13 I started to lose interest as an ABRSM Grade 7 pianist. Despite having completed a music composition course and had been scoring all distinctions in my previous exams for both piano and theory, I told my mum I wanted to give up. But when my friends obsessed with anime asked me to help her make piano versions of some songs, it changed my entire life. I didn't plan on continuing on covering, but when I came across this channel I was left stunned. I've never known that pop songs can be fitting in piano so much, and the elegance and confidence in the music touched me so much that I made my decision right at the moment--I'll continue with my piano career. And I'll start to make J-pop covers on my own. Now I'm 15, turning 16 next year, and I'm preparing for my Grade 8 exam which is going to take place in fall next year. I made a 25-page anime song piano trio medley for my school music practical exam with my friends, and I'm currently doing another 5-song medley for the in-school singing contest which I'm going to be the accompanist, as well as an arrangement for the accompaniment of "Homura", the song from Demon Slayer movie, for the competition as well. I'm casually running my channel, and I also proudly shared the "Zen Zen Zense" cover you made with my entire class last year when our teacher asked us to share some covers of pop songs in class. I can make my own covers of a TV-size version of a song in half an hour just by self-improvising. And my ultimate goals are---to be able to play a cover of Animenz and also make a cover at Animenz's level. Even though I might not have much time to play the piano after graduating from high school. I even started learning Japanese this year because my obsession with Japanese songs has become crazy. But after all, it all started when I came across covers here. Animenz has become my aspiration and role model. Thank you Animenz. I'm a relatively new fan who landed here at probably the end of 2018 or early 2019, and I have never expected my journey with you coming to a sudden tragic halt like this. Thank you for your amazing work, it surely cheered me up during my whole period of online learning starting from January. Seeing a new upload from you is so much joy, especially when it's one of my favourites. Thank you for introducing me to more songs which slips into my song list immediately after I listen to your cover, such as this song, Shirushi, and also Rising Hope, and a lot more. Thank you for bringing me into anime song culture, and thank you for being my motivation to stay with my piano. I've finally reached my 10th year of being a pianist, and this would never happen without you---I might have quit playing the piano already. Last but not least, I chose to comment under here not only because of the sad nature of this song but also because of the particular meaning of this song title "Shirushi". If put in Hiragana, it means a "mark" or a "symbol". Animenz has been a symbolic character of anime song covering on piano. He has also marked my new start on my piano and music career. Also, this serves as a mark of Animenz's 10 years of uploading here as well as my 10th year of paying the piano simultaneously---such a coincidence that I wish it could last longer. This has been the cover closest to my 15th birthday as well, which was on 24th March. Since I didn't pay much attention to this song, I'd treat this as probably a late birthday gift, and this comment with my story would be my farewell gift to Animenz. Once again, thank you Animenz. Thank you for your great effort. We all appreciate it. I wish you a happy and peaceful life in Japan, no matter you choose to start up another channel, coming back to this channel if possible, or choose to lead a new life. Thank you. ---Hanaya, 2020.11.21 9:30 p.m. Best wishes from Hong Kong (p.s. I hope my grammar didn't go too messy since I'm in an extremely emotional state rn, but thanks to everyone who have read till here!)

Once again I am never dissapointed with an animenz upload. SAO is flawed anime but the music in it is incredible even more so when animenz is arranging it. Cant wait for the next upload
I'm loving these latest rounds of covers. Songs from when I watched anime religiously (2010 to 2014), that I never thought I'd have the chance to hear animenz arrangement! Thanks and stay safe until next time!!
the fact that there is 30+ people waiting 12 hours before it premieres just shows how talented you are and how you’re such a great pianist. Stay safe !! :))
The timing of that gliss was unexpected. And great. I honestly can't understand how you come up with such great little ideas like that that improve the entire story you're writing by a lot.
I learned his arrangement for kuusou mesorogiwi and it took a whole year, I thought that was the hardest thing, but looking on his level now, he's come so far.
By far one of the best work you've put out this year yet. Tears were shed the first time I heard it. Very well polished and well thought out, very powerful and emotional. My favorite thing about this arrangement is definitely is how "lyrical" it is. Music with highs and lows, moment of breath, and moment to expose it to the world. Absolutely well done my man :) Thank you for your hard work as always, it was worth it. I'll keep rooting for you!
I really love your "evolved Animenz style", embracing more "spaced out" arrangement, and put your more complicated style to climax the arrangement Keep exploring dude! The "Animenz style" evolution shall never end!
Yumesekai and shirusi are definitely the best outros. The intro for shirusi is so tear jerking and the high notes and then the subtle ness is so 😫😩 Mother’s Rosario was so sad
I will never stop thanking you for every now and then. Thank you for all the beautiful interpretations, pieces, efforts, everything. I hope you to be well, surrounded by happiness always.
Your music always takes me to a different place, as most music should. You truly are a master, thank you for the ability you give me to be graced with your music.
Let's all hope that another anime with crazy good music comes around. Thanks Animenz, I really enjoy your arrangements and the evolution your style has gone through over the past years.
This arrangement makes me so happy and makes my heart ache at the same time. It's so beautiful; words can't explain. I can't wait to play it. The part at 3:48 slaps hard.
I really love and would also like to encourage the idea of polishing up the old arrangements or finalizing them. This proves that sometimes going back to the classics just works best. Looking forward to more of your uploads, especially in these crazy times.
Animenz as always a great arrangement. The pace of the arrangement is just perfect! It is one of my favorite endings of SAO. I'm loving the uploads. Keep up the amazing work. Im a big fan of your work.

Reading your comment really makes me happy, because the hard work has paid off at the end 😄
waiting for over 5 years finally paid off :')
samee 😭😭
He is making quarantine days better
I really hope he plays something from Plastic Memories. Man that'll be legit.
You mean lit?
Nah legit lit
I wanted to like but after seeing the number of likes I just couldn't disturb that number 😂😂
Srivatsan Srinivasan same
@@srivatsan8158 me 2 lol it has remained at the sacred number from 4 months let it be 😂
Have been watching this video for hundreds of times...one of the best anime piano covers i have ever heard
Coronavirus can't stop us from Loving Music
Stay safe everyone!
Omdz I can't believe it, I thought he was gonna have a break since he sed that on his recent upload but I guess not, im not complaining
Oh my dizzle?
LiSa always manages to bring a song to the next level and you somehow always manage to keep that level up when making and playing a piano arrangement of it... You both just never fail to amaze, or should I say "animaze" me!
finally Shirushi, one of my fav songs ♥
Thank you Animenz for bringing melodies into my life
I'm hyped for Shirushi!
I hope you will do an official arrangement of Last Stardust someday :)
I think he might! Fonzi even asked for it, and Animenz left a vague, "foreshadow-y" response.
Yeaaa last stardustt!
I am just with tears in my eyes, well thats a while ago 😢
Hearing this and having on my mind how I began my piano journey just about 2 years ago.
Thank you to all the piano anitubers as well that got me highly into playing anime music :)
Love for the community ❤❤❤❤❤
The BEST piano arrangement of shirushi for me😭😭
this song was actually the song that started my interest in anime song piano cover. Theisther had one of the best shirushi piano like 5 or 6 years ago I can't remember. I was looking for the song in YT when I stumble upon his work. It was beautiful. This is a more adventurous version, but still a great cover!
This is one of my favorite songs from LiSA, and you covering it... I'm totally hyped! Can't wait to hear this!!
2008 - 2014 has almost all of my favorite anime, thanks for making arrangements for all of these songs!
OMG I LOVE THIS SONG SO MUCH
It's so refreshing hearing these older songs again.
Finally, was hoping you would do that one for quite a while, one of my favourite animes😍
I love how professional animez is when it comes to youtube. I like it how he doesn't put clickbaity thumbnails and such.
The arrangement exceeds my expectations including the people who already heard it
Its so good that I can hear the voices in my head
It really is what he said. It just feels right when you are listening to it but when you realize what techniques he used, it makes the rendition more amazing.
I'm back here...crying...in my heart...
I was wondering why haven't Animenz updated here for nearly a month, so I went to the Butter-Fly remake video, which was the latest upload. But it turns out to be his last upload here, in this channel, probably even his last video under the name Animenz on TH-cam...
(please refer to the comments under that video for details, but to be short, Animenz got banned from this channel.)
It's like something has been taken away from me.
Thank you.

Best wishes from Hong Kong
(p.s. I hope my grammar didn't go too messy since I'm in an extremely emotional state rn, but thanks to everyone who have read till here!)
This piece is beautiful and makes me want to cry everytime...LiSA's voice also just suits the the song..makes u reminisce sad things and also happy times about a person ;)
HOLY WOW, I CAN’T WAITTTTT
I usually hate different renditions of music especially when it's deviating exaggeratedly from the original but your composition always gets it done perfectly and gives me a different perspective and makes appreciate your dedication, creativity and passion when composing music. Keep up the good work as always and thank you for your contribution to the community.
Stay safe everyone.
God thank you for bringing back those old memories.
The year this song came out was a joy.
Once again I am never dissapointed with an animenz upload. SAO is flawed anime but the music in it is incredible even more so when animenz is arranging it. Cant wait for the next upload
One of my favorite Sao songs
Whether or not you like SAO you've gotta admit that this ED is pretty good
(And having the literal GOD of piano play it makes it 10000% better)
this is also one of my favorite SAO endings!!! THANK YOU Animenz!!!!!
I agree! The vocals by LiSA captured my heart but you captured my soul. Thanks :3
One of your best arrangements for one of LiSa's best songs, ty for this it's amazing
2:24 HOW DOES THAT SOUND SO GOOD!?!
Im so glad to see you upload every week, welcome back king and keep going !
He can tell a story without using images, amazing👏🏻
By far one of the best work you've put out this year yet. Tears were shed the first time I heard it. Very well polished and well thought out, very powerful and emotional. My favorite thing about this arrangement is definitely is how "lyrical" it is. Music with highs and lows, moment of breath, and moment to expose it to the world. Absolutely well done my man :)
Thank you for your hard work as always, it was worth it. I'll keep rooting for you!
I really love your "evolved Animenz style", embracing more "spaced out" arrangement, and put your more complicated style to climax the arrangement
Keep exploring dude! The "Animenz style" evolution shall never end!
Im very happy to see that youre enjoying IT animenz and i wish you a great day.
My man you said you won't upload but you still pulled through. I'm so hyped for you to post a transcription of my favorite ending of all time.
Yumesekai and shirusi are definitely the best outros. The intro for shirusi is so tear jerking and the high notes and then the subtle ness is so 😫😩 Mother’s Rosario was so sad
The world doesn't deserve you, animenz. But we are forever grateful nonetheless. Thank you ♥️
you never fails on entrancing everyone with your arrangement, that's animenz for y'all
I will never stop thanking you for every now and then.
This man has been on a trip to dig out all of the best and saddest ED of the last decade
how talented this guys is. if i am to be reborn someday i wish i would reborn as animenz. how awesome is that.
Thank you for doing this amazing cover of my "THE" favorite song in Anime. Thank you thank you and thank you! I reaally am so happy ☺
What a lovely way to start my Saturday morning! Thank you so much.
Disgustingly terrific !! This is just too beautiful ❤️❤️❤️ dannng!!! absolutely brilliant!
i do agree her vocal is so amazing.. her live performnce keep improving
I really love and would also like to encourage the idea of polishing up the old arrangements or finalizing them. This proves that sometimes going back to the classics just works best.
Looking forward to more of your uploads, especially in these crazy times.
Simply amazing! Thank you for sharing this beautiful song with us.
Animenz as always a great arrangement. The pace of the arrangement is just perfect! It is one of my favorite endings of SAO. I'm loving the uploads. Keep up the amazing work. Im a big fan of your work.
My favorite piano cover of a song hands down
Your videos are the only videos I like before watching it. You are seriously amazing I can't even imagine how much effort, time and practice you had, not to mention your insane talent.
I always enjoy your unique arrangement, thank you so much for uploading :)
My favorite SAO ending, beatiful arrangement. Thank you Animenz
Thank you for the amazing music at times like these 👍🏻
At this Animenz and Fonzi M are LOVE ❤
I really enjoyed the reserved style and pedalling of this arrangement. You are really killing it
man this is legit one of my favorite LiSA songs ever. haven't even watched SAO
I personally love the soundtrack for sword art online and I am super happy you did this cover!!!
I gentle song with delicate hands playing them, can't find another word to describe, keep up the good works man!
finally dudeeeeee, finally!!!!!! you really made my day , love you so much
Best arrangement of this piece ever.
SAO is one of the best anime ever. Its iconic and has phenomenal OSTs.❤
This is absolutely beautiful! I appreciate that it's not 1:1 like the original and it just has its own fresh flavor and ahhh I love it so much! Thank you
Animenz, you be taking us on the journey again 😁
I have never even heard thus song and this gave me goosebumps! It’s really amazing Animenz! Thank you for providing some relief during this time :)
0:55 A personal appreciation from me, how you can skillfully play and reach the chord with your left hand there. Nicely done! (I needed some unexpected stretching first for this haha)
