    Hi John! Great grading work! That clay and sand mix is the cat’s meow. You did a great job explaining the proper way to great good drainage in a yard. Thanks for sharing!

      Thank you DIY! I really appreciate your comment. That mix is the beat we have come across in all the landscaping work we have done. The bad thing is only one dirt pit make it. Have a great weekend! See ya in the next one!

      Thank you Nancy & Mike! They are super happy with it. 13 years that yard would flood every time it rained. Now they can walk the dogs as soon as the rain stops. Have a great weekend! See ya in the next one! P.S. Did Mike get the add ons from BX?

      @nancyincanada5553 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@LouisianaTractorworks that's a total transformation! Yes, Mike received the add ons from BX. He hooked up the quick-attach and the thumb on the backhoe. Unfortunately, no time to use them. he is fixing our car and replacing the roof on our house. Have a great weekend!

    That turned out awesome John! There's something about doing yard drainage that has always made me love doing it! Probably the fact of how happy the customers are with not having to deal with a cesspool in their back yards anymore! Thanks for sharing and nice job!

      Thank you Tyler! I feel the same. How do you like the Sawboss? Have a good week! See ya in the next one!

    • @Tyler_Koehn
      @Tyler_Koehn ปีที่แล้ว

      @LouisianaTractorworks Absolutely!
      As far as the sawboss, I don't feel like it was exactly designed for sub compacts like I have. It does not fit properly on such a small loader as the bx has. Im hopefully going to be getting a larger tractor that it will be more size appropriate for here soon.
      Built very well and has great quality, so I did write a nice review for them as I'm not docking them just because it did not fit mine. So, I'm looking forward to getting a chance to utilize it!

    Hey John, That was a great idea to cut the grass short first. It was a big job for sure. It turned out great and the grass looks awesome. The walkway turned out really nice. Take care

      @LouisianaTractorworks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you John, for taking time to watch. I really appreciate your support. Yea, I find cutting the grass as short as I can get it helps in two way. You can see the highs & lows much better and the grass don't cause a spongy affect so your dirt packs better. Have a good week! See ya in the next one!

    Real nice grading work there John, it turned out perfect. That job was custom made for a scut tractor, both size and weight. A bigger tractor would tear the crap outta all that grass you were traveling over. I like that walkway alot too!

    How's she goin'? Nice work John!!! The material you had was perfect for this job eh. Your technique with the bucket worked perfect too. I like to use the heel of the bucket to push the material when I'm spreading too. It does a nice job. The swale is a great testament to the grade you managed to produce. A top notch job my friend. Take care!!!

      Thank you on the trail again, for the comment! I have not worked the new models of GC's. I did a video with my dealer going over one. I would say to do homework on them to find out what issues they have if any. There's some great groups on Facebook that has a lot of owners of the models there. You can also go to tractorbynet.com for info about them. Let me know if you get one and what you think about it. Have a great weekend! See ya in the next one!

    Other than a counterweight, why not remove the backhoe? Removal is easy and would minimize the chance of hitting the privacy fence.

      Thx, for the link for the hydro linkage repair. Btw, check your hydro lines on the hoe. The way they ran them through the hoe causes the line to chaff. After replacing the hydro line I fixed it by putting a small piece of rubber hose over the line to stop the chaffing
