@@faizanusmani1039 couldn’t agree more! Wasim was my favorite cricketer despite being completely terrorized by him in the 90s, but he is hyper-sensitive and can’t take any differing opinions. Misbah has an excellent cricketing mind and provides very nuanced analyses. Shoaib is kinda annoying, and waqar is pretty balanced. Overall a better media product than anything coming out of India (I’m Indian btw before people start attacking me)

I have been watching this coverage for a few days and I must admit this is far superior to any similar programs on Indian television. Notwithstanding that could listen the Great 2 W's of our childhood memories all day!
Fakhar is so professional. We also need these types of anchors and hosts in India. Such an interesting show. Love the way he conducts the whole show.

This show is world class one of the best analysis down to earth and wonderful anecdotes. To those tales may I add an interview where the great Waqar Youniss was shocked to see the poor quality of a young Stinath's boots and immediately gave a pair of his. Sports like music is a universal language

Wasim Akram needs to understand that as a public figure one gets love and criticism in equal amounts, Akram's attitude to criticism is poor , an all time great cricketer but also tarnished by match fixing

Always watched your shows from Last year world Cup great show. My question for the legends especially Mr Wasim Akram and Mr Waqar Younis. In this day mental toughness and health is a very important issue. At their peaks Mr Younis had a very bad back injury and Mr Akram developed diabetes. Despite the setbacks, how did you both constantly motivate yourselves and keep working hard. Please explain about the mental toughness you legends maintained because quite often we see nowadays many youngsters after suffering setbacks in various professions end up drifting away from their goal and wasting their talent. My humble request to the 2 W legends, what will you tell youngsters to keep themselves motivated after setbacks

Fakhar Sir my question is for Misbah Sir.
During the game against India, after the 19th over Shadab khan sprinted from mid wicket and sent Babar to long-off / long-on and basically took over the captaincy. This is not me, it’s Bharat Sundaresan(a journalist for Sen Sports Australia and was present in Comm box) saying. How can this happen and if it did then is it safe to say that Babar does not command authority in times of pressure?

That is a very noticeable thing about Indians. They always respect the elders and stars by calling them Sir. Even here in US, we Pakistanis play with them, but very rarely would you find a rude Indian cricketer. Always full of respect and always give others respect regardless of who is from Pak or elsewhere.
I don't want to name any of our former captain or player. We know their records. Most of them are legends as players but we know what they did as captains.
It was a dream for us to even beat or even compete against India at World Cup Event. But according to them Babar is worst Captain.
As far as I remember in T20 WC we lost most games one sided. I enjoyed 4 T20 WC Encounters against India.
We saw 3 close games in T20 WC against India. 2 were played in Inaugural WC under Malik. We lost those games but atleast we fought. And same was yesterday we lost our Openers still tried to put a good score and then bowlers chipped in but have to give credit to Kohli too. Only a player like him can take away such game. The way he hit Haris for Straight Six even Ian Smith said no one could have hit that.
Now back to discussion. The 4th one was the match we won exactly 1 year ago. A game which started with outstanding bowling of Shaheen and ended with unbeaten Partnership of Rizwan & Babar.
If we talk about ODI Matches with India in last 10 Years. We didn't have success against them in WC. But we defeated them in India in 2012. Other than that only 2 games where we outplayed them. One was CT Final and other was the match where Afridi hit 2 sixes. Babar yet to play an ODI against India as Captain.
As fans we criticise we love we support our team. But its surprising that those players who failed as captain pointing out Babar for every mistake.

#askthepavilion i was thinking why no one had objected having two matches in the same ground and the same day. Delay in the first game due to weather or other reasons surely impacts the next game which can be avoided.

One question to all greats: Should ICC look into the rule where if Umpire gives out and third umpire overturns and the players get no runs. This will be disastrous if a team needs 2 runs and the umpire gives the batsman out but third umpire on his snicko detects the inside edge. Imagine this happening in the final of World Cup. The team will lose even if the batsmen had run two runs.
I think the solution is that play should go and once the game comes to a halt then the decision can be made by third umpire. This is done in football.

Babar this year tied with Virat Kohli as the fastest to reach 3 thousand T20 runs. Babar and Rizwan are the best opening pair currently with more then 7 one hundred runs partnerships, they currently hold the record for highest 1st wicket partnership, people who only watch cricket in WC or Asia Cup say they need to break up, certainly they don't remember the time when we had Imran Farhat as an opener. Babar scored the most runs in the last T20 World Cup, Rizwan had the most runs in a calendar year and you dare talk about consistency? Have you not been watching cricket since 2018? Babar is only having a bad couple of months and you all talk shit. You talk like we had a better team before, did you forgot what happened when Afridi lead the team to World Cup in India? did you forget what happened in 2012 and 2014? Did you forgot time when we got all out against India on 80 Runs? Do you want that team to come back or support the boys who crushed every team beneath their foot last year? This team has the potential, has the talent, has the commitment they only need our support.

Being captain, it should have been known to Baber that spinners do not bowl the last overs! If Baber and Rizwan are not performing as openers then why Fakhar or Shan is not opening with Rizwan and Baber is batting at 4?

You guys are doing a great job with the show. HOWEVER, you are going to lose a lot of good faith if you keep ridiculing your audience. Your audience asks questions because you have a segment specifically for that.
Firstly, you don't need to bring in every question to the program. You can filter the ones you dont like.
Secondly, these are your fans. They are passionate about the game. This means they would want to clarify the context and the facts of the topics you talk about. It is normal and you need to accept this. Its good for the game that you have such passionate fans who pay attention to the details.
Thirdly, telling a person who is asking you a question to get a life was a bit out of line. Its getting a bit much.
Why Anchor selects a stupid question at first place?
