Holy sh*t. Never knew he wasn't American. What an incredible actor. Massive shame he was killed off so early by season 4. If only Dave Erikson wasn't fired as showrunner. What could've been...
I read that it was Frank's decision to leave, he didn't want to continue playing Nick for fear of only being cast in that sort of role, he's young and wanted to experience different characters, but I thought he was The best part of FEAR
@@lindajames978 I honestly don’t think so. He signed up for season 4 and with the wild change in direction, he said himself that he was done with the character, as in his eyes there was no more arc to fulfill. So we can only deduce that he saw the script and the massive overhaul of the series then left because it wasn’t the show it once was. I love Fear but man, there were just so many balls that were dropped, it’s frustrating to think of how much potential was lost due to AMC being so out of touch with what made the series great to begin with.
Usually when i realize actors aren't american for the first time, i half expect it and it makes sense. This one caught me off guard. I would've never guessed it with nick!
I was about to say that! He (Frank Dillane) played him in The Half-Blood Prince. Christian Coulson played Young Tom Riddle in The Chamber of Secrets. Hero Fiennes Tiffin played eleven-year-old Tom Riddle (in The Half-Blood Prince, as well).
@TWDExplained Frank Dillane felt he did all he could for the character Nick. He doesn't seem to blame a producer? He basically says Nick was an addict and now he's not, so I don't know what to do with the character. He takes responsibility for the growth of the character.
Seasons 1-3 with Dave Erickson as the writer is the true fear. Anything last season 3 is fake and Frank saw that and left. Smartest choice he could have made. Look how the show turned out. A shell of its former rawness
Nicks story, how it started was so amazing
Nick was so special to me and I loved his character and his flaws! Such an amazing character for this world and watching him get by
Best character in F.T.W.D by a country mile!!!!
Whole time I thought homie was American
Fun fact: he’s the son of the actor who plays stannis baratheon from GoT
Yep - Stannis is his Dad (I am working on a FTWD Did You Know video and that fact is in there!)
@@jamesawwyea I watched GOT a week ago and I LOVEE Stannis (except for him in s5 ofc..)
@@TWDExplainedwait you work for fear the walking dead?
@@snejk2667 no - I said i was working on a FTWD video for the channel
Fear the Walking Deads true potential left with Frank imo
True.
I loved when he took the old guy's clothes and left the hospital.
The good old days
So love the way he played Nick and was absolutely brilliant I sobbed when he got shot ...best Fear Charater ever

Beautiful performance. And as a recovering addict myself this is spot on. Great actor.
Nick's death was a heart break..
I feel that statement. Being an addict doesn't mean you are a (or only a) drug addict

How true. Frank nailed that.
This man is gorgeous.
Bravo man, well said.
Facts bro I miss him so fkn much
Fun fact he played young tom riddle

Hes up there with glenn in the top of best walking dead universe characters
Nick unos dé mis actores favoritos
He is smart guy.
Damn can't they bring Nick back somehow
only through flashbacks
Too bad he wanted off the show. He was given such a good role, and he couldn't handle it.
he could handle it - he couldn't handle the new show runners

Stoped watching the moment they killed Nick in season 4. I only watchen because of Frank😅❤
ياريت يكون في المستقبل جزء آخر فيه احد يشبه نيك كي يكمل المسلسل بشخصية أخرى وتراه امه وتفرح لأنه يشبه ابنها نيك❤
Duh
Someone thinks they’re Johnny Depp! Pretending he’s this thespian, great Shakespearean actor. It’s only a zombie show mate!
You gonna cry?
He’s not pretending, he’s answering a question about the character he played. How does explaining an addiction classify as Shakespearean?
@@cashtache come on, the mannerisms are that of a “serious” actor. Very pretentious.
