Me too.. memories always of Italy at end of August it was almost like clockwork electric cut and lightening and thunderstorms. I just have vague memories now as most photos gone and webstick failed but Nicky Carlo and family have helped me to relive those days . Way before insta or even computer.

Funny how the things we love aren’t always the most popular things. You do a great job on all your videos Nicki. I live on the Atlantic coast of Canada and we love when the sea gets like that. We have ferries that cross our harbour in all weather. Except hurricanes lol. Fun times. Glad the weather is breaking a bit. Stay safe!
Luca is a one man wonder. Someone with a deep rich knowledge of the earth, and sowing seeds. Wish I had a tenth of his gardening skills. You are lucky to have him.
We were at a beach on the other side of our island, Mallorca, to have a very brief vacation and had those same gigantic swells and high wind. Wild, kind of scary and totally unexpected but people were swimming, of course following the life guards advice. The hired boats and yachts came in early or stayed in port. So happy you guys kept safe. By the way that night trip in the kayak was indeed magical. You guys, and Holly and Indy were absolutely lovely. Don't be discouraged about views, sometimes it means the episode was extraordinary, like great art or music, not everybody appreciates quality.

I love when you go out on the boats. Kayaks too. You take us too cool spots & the view from the water is incredible. It was interesting to learn about making plans way in advance when visiting. I would have just assumed the hotel could arrange tickets. Always good to see Elizabeth & Peppe. Carlo wore the right suit for an evening dip. Love the day glow ❤

Nicki, for the record, I love the way you and Carlo tell stories. The music, the light, the people, and places you visit are perfection. I feel like I’m being transported to a different time and place. The Positano boat piece was wonderful. You should be proud. Also, as an aside, a cousin of mine just returned from a whirlwind trip to Italy. Of course, they visited Positano and posted their photos on Facebook. I was showing them to my Mama Lillian and we both stopped when we saw her and her husband in a picture with Elizabeth. We looked at each other and said, “ that’s Nicki’s friend, Elizabeth!”. I think they must have taken a boat trip with her company. What a hoot! I feel like these are all our friends too. 💕 Good luck almost making it to 200K subs. You deserve it!

I think people forget about the WORK that goes into the videos that you make feel like we're just hanging out with you. Respect. Your "oily, plaity" hair looks amazing for a day at the beach. I'm proud that Indie has learned to do so well on the kayak. Disappointing people can't respect property. Tourism is both good and bad for Positano. The yachts are gorgeous, but all the blingy lights seem a bit annoying - is there a purpose to them or are they just for showing off at night? Mmm. Pizza. Yes I'm typing as I watch. Nighttime kayaking is magical! In Positano, everyone can hear the concert. WOW - that weather makes a huge difference - watching the strategically timed exit from the ferry made me nervous. Well, thank you Elizabeth but timing could have been better. Great workout. Great to see Elizabeth and Pepe! Thank you for the explanation. Weather is impossible to predict. Thank you for taking care of your guests.

I watch and like, love, or ADORE all of them. It's a real mystery ; the formula of what gets promoted. Sadly, it seems to be the more garish, drama/trauma videos that get pushed. Hey Carlo, I can send you tons of twigs and small branches from my yard. Every rain storm makes small twigs fall on the ground. Doesn’t it figure that the youtube videos you think are much better aren’t seen as much. Kind of shows how little the audience knows about how much it really takes to make and edit a video. We are easily entertained. But many of us appreciate all that you do. I came over here because a paper crafting lady I watch, Maymay Made It told us about your channel. I am so glad she did. That was maybe over a year ago.
I watch the videos as they appear on my youtube, they appear randomly, and the more I watch more appear next time I sign in. I love all your videos especially the ones you’ve done about your and Carlo’s daily life there at home in town, on the water, at work or just relaxing in the garden or at home. Love your dinners with friends, the kids, your life there is beautiful. I come from Nantucket Island, Cape Cod Massachusetts, USA I am an artist and scrimshanderer, wove lightship baskets and had a shop there. Now i’m retired and live in tiny village of Onset, Mass. I watch all your videos. I personally get a take-a-way from every one of them. Don’t give the number of viewers another thought. Your content, editing, and music combined with Carlos drone footage is top notch. Some people just have a short attention span and are YT browsers.

I have not found the boat life ones yesterday but will keep looking. I watch at least one of your videos every day. I love them all. I love seeing Skye and Niccola, Tommaso, Carlo’s family and your dear friends, especially Elizabeth and her precious girls. But I cannot get something off my mind. You must write a children’s book about Holly. She is not just any cute little dog. She is a great adventurer with the most amazing energy. This would be a fabulous book! I am 81 and have had and seen many adorable dogs but she is really unique and a book of her climbing all over the mountains, all the stairs, getting on the kayaks, riding your Vespa! Oh my. I can see this wonderful children’s book in my mind. Wish I had the talent but I do not nor do I know anyone. Hope you will think about it. 😊

A few years ago in Branson, MO a boat on the lake sunk with all tourists in it. I think they had 30 people on board. Around 27 died.
Why?
Because here in MO the weather changes extremely fast and a storm formed over Branson.
Everyone who lives in Missouri knows that storms pop up and sometimes they dont cause anything and disappear fast.
Maybe the captain thought this and did not go back to shore.
He also did not make anyone wear their life vests.
Thunder and lightning was strong and the passengers stayed in the boat.
No vests on. Vests were on board.
It was too late. The storm was indeed strong and the boat went under water. It sucked everyone down and they couldn’t swim up in time to breath. No vests.
Sad day.
The captain should of gone back.

The storm and seeing the passengers disembarking with the huge waves lashing on the peer was scary.Your picnic with the fire on the beach and the delicious pizzas was awesome ,the lush greenery for your daily morning walks seeing snakes! Are your canoes safe? The oar getting stolen and all that sand in it was very sad indeed.

I loved the opening it was inviting, and the storms like that happen alot, you just don't see or hear about them....happening more than ever since we are in the last days. Loved Elizabeth with the cake celebration, and enjoyed to see everyone diving into it - I laughted, because we used to do that too. Personally I tend to skip the boat related videos, but I loved the night time kayaking and just the night time vibe in general.

Personally, I love ALL your videos, but sometimes my week gets especially busy & I may miss one completely. It’s not by choice or that I’m uninterested. Sometimes I have to do a “binge watch” & catch up on ones I’ve missed. Perhaps that may be true of others as well?💛🧡❤️♥️
I am always amazed that no-one seems to be very concerned about sharks in your area. In Florida, USA it’s a big no no to swim in the ocean at night because it’s not “if” it’s “when” a shark will appear. Nighttime is feeding time for sharks especially near any piers. Thanks for the video.
The Amalfi coast has no sharks. The water is too warm and shallow for them to live there.
The water temps in Fl are currently almost 90* F or 33-34 C. It’s is very hot and humid in Florida from spring to fall. Most every shark species loves warm water so that can’t be the reason. Apparently shark sightings in Positano are not an issue. Thanks for the response.

How romantic to kayak at night, as well as eat pizza on the beach. I'm glad that Elizabeth's Blue Star was able to unload her passengers in a safe place and to return safely too. Plus she moved your kayaks away from the storm's surf.

Nothing like roasting hot dogs with some hot dogs on the beach at night. It does seem like yesterday , indeed,that you canned tomatoes. I very much enjoy applying my learned knowledge of Positano through your educational vlogs. I'd like to persuade people that that is a place that they would enjoy .
