Everyday a husband and wife must honor and make each other feel special, not once a year.
True, but with the world becoming increasingly loud and busy, many people don’t get to make each other feel as special and loved as they deserve every day of the year. It’s nice to have days like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s and Father’s Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, anniversaries, and birthdays to make the people you love and care about feel special. And not only are you giving them the love and support they need, but you’re also thanking God for putting these people in your life.

I have not "done" Valentine's, Easter or xmas for 30 years. Lost many friends along the way who preferred the fun to the truth, even preferred lying to their children rather than bringing them up in the Truth.

Do you only love God on specific appointed days? I love Him on all days He created and that includes Dec 25, Feb 14, even Oct 31. Those aren’t the only days to celebrate God, but in a world that’s increasingly loud and busy, it’s nice to have special occasions where all of that stops and people can celebrate God and His gifts to us.
I used to be an atheist and while there’s a lot that influenced me to become a Christian, Easter and Christmas were large factors. That’s when I heard about God’s love the most and it started to change my heart. The more holidays and cultural traditions we redeem for Christ, the more we can reach secular people. But if we just throw our hands up and surrender everything to the devil, the devil will take over. Don’t forget this is God’s world - Satan is just an unwelcome vagrant.

In my Church we have a day we call Reflection of Love we do celebrate it in February, but we want people to understand that love is not just one day . I use to go back and forth with how I felt about Christmas in 2020, I stopped Christmas… fast forward to fall 2023, I have zero desire to celebrate any holiday.

It is often suspicious when an activity is named after a so-called saint. Here in the Netherlands we didn't have Valentine's Day at all, no one I knew celebrated it. Since our country strayed from the Bible, you see that things like Halloween and Valentine's Day are becoming more and more popular.

When Valentines Day arrives, I make a huge, special, Italian dinner for my wife with cheesecake for dessert.
Not everything has to be shunned. I’m a strong believer in Jesus and his teachings. I love my wife and it’s perfectly ok for me to make her a special meal on the 14th.

And what must be grasped in a life of immediate obedience is our 'ADON expects this of us. “No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of YHWY” (Luke 9:57-62). I believe if we do act on disobedience, and we repent , HE will forgive with consequences. And 2 things may happen . First, we could grow spiritually indifferent. Neglect doing what we know ELOHIM commands of us, and a cooling of the heart occurs. The second thing which could happen if we delay obeying known commands of YEHUSA is we grow to accept disobedience. It is the worst of conditions to be a backslidden Nazarene, And just becuz someone else did it and they became right with YHWY later, might not be everybody's own experience. Proving to YHWY we feel something is more important than HIM, is going against HIS #1 commandment.

And the seeing the difference will too. I believed it would be OK, as long as it got done before, but now I know better. Especially in these last days, we need to be growing closer to YEHUSHA, not putting things off till we are ready.

I used to celebrate Valentines day, but for a few years back, I stopped without knowing that it was originally a pagan holiday.

I believe that it’s all in “how” you celebrate rather than “what” or “what day” you celebrate. As a single man, you’d think I’d have no use for Valentine’s day, but I celebrate the love of my family, friends, and most importantly, the love of God. Same with Christmas, and all other holidays. No, they aren’t the only days we’re supposed to share love and think about God, but in a world that’s increasingly busy and noisy, it’s nice to have certain occasions where all of that stops and people focus on what really matters in life.
Pagans tried to stop marriages, Saint Valentine witnessed marriages in secret, the pagans hated that and got him executed. Origin for day, is based in Christian values, in marriages being witnessed and be before God.
Okay, I understand and I do agree after watching to the end. Yes, I agree that even celebration with my spouse in a way that was established by pagan worship isn't good and I guess I may as well wear a pentagram and cast spells while we go out to eat and I give her roses. No, I think I'll just be good to my wife all the time and find other special days for us to celebrate that Yahuah would be good with.

Honestly, I’ve never cared about Valentine’s Day. I kind of hated it growing up. Everyone running around trying to find a boyfriend. The guys weren’t trying to have a girlfriend, simply because they weren’t trying to buy them anything😂. I’m sorry, but I’ve always thought that part was funny. This was in middle school, into high school. Now years later, I’m married now. Me and my wife got married on Valentine’s Day. It happened because the venue that we were renting out was cheaper on that day. We looked at each other and was like, “heck yeah, let’s do it.” I did not care about it being on Valentine’s Day. It made it VERY easy for me to remember our anniversary😁. Just came up on 14 years of marriage. It will be 20 years that we’ve been together on the first week of July. Long time coming. But even then, I’ve always did some kind of research on something that never set well with me 🤔. Sadly, most wouldn’t believe any of this stuff. We grew up as kids. Celebrating it our whole lives. There’s nothing wrong with this holiday most would argue. Most are just brainwashed and refuse to see🤷🏽♂️. That Peter Pan caught me by surprise😳. The first thing that came to mind was my son. He LOVED him self some Peter Pan. Even thought he was Peter Pan🤦🏽♂️😩. Well, I have some teaching to do starting with my wife, then our kids. This was a fantastic video👌🏽.

Those of us under the influence of Holy Spirit have not observed silly "holidays" like this for many years. He will lead us into all Truths and whether we knew the origins or not, we would not have any desire to observe any false celebrations the world seems to idolize.
