In under the first two minutes of this video, it feels like all my worries are gone, all my problems are solved and my brain is at ease. Very well explained, THANK. YOU. Especially during this pandemic where many of us don't have teachers by our side, thank goodness we have you to explain to us. Have a nice day/night!
When you teach, forget the all idea of students knowing a thing or more about what you are about to teach.Teach like it's the first time that thing is being heard of on earth and then you will be one of the greatest tutors ever.
That's funny. I was dreading how difficult composite and inverse functions were moments ago until this video appeared in my recommendations. How convenient lol.
For the first time, I finally understood what youtube video taught me. I usually puzzled by the comments of many other video claiming it saves their life and how easy it is to understood while the content of it was hard to digest which I suspect that those that dont understand simply didnt comment about it but this video is different, I can finally understands it. Many thanks, this will helps my final of this semester.
I've watched quite a few videos on how to find inverse functions and they all use the "y" substitution method, but this is the best one because the presenter actually takes a moment to explain what is going on and the theory behind it.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH SIR !!! Now I understand how to do these TwT OMGGG I'M SO GLAD I FOUND THIS VIDEO + YOUR EXPLANATION IS BEYOND THIS UNIVERSE I appreciate it! ♡
I just wanna say thank you so much I have the biggest exam on Wednesday and I was struggling with this topic and now it's clear as day THANK YOU SO MUCH ❤️❤️❤️ YOU SAVE MY LIFE
The explanation is easy to understand and very useful i just having trouble understanding the problems/exercise you left in the description but nonetheless good explanation
i swear your a life saver, i was not doing any maths work like always for live lessons cause im lazy and last 25 mins i realised every1 was doing a test about this topic and i have 0 knowledge. i watched this video not all and saw what u did and THANK YOU you explained so well, so neat so quick and easy, ik i probs got alot of the question wrong but at least i didnt leave the questions empty...well some... my understanding for this topic improved , id be sure to check all your other vids for help now :')

Great video, however I want to note that you should write it as f o g = f[g(x)] f(x) and not f g. Because fg= (f)(g) and is indicating that you're multiplying both functions which is not the case.
Maybe this is the case where you are learning? The convention in UK for GCSE/IGCSE is to write fg(x) et al. It is written this way in the textbooks and on the exam papers. I've not found it written any other way on the plethera of videos I have seen either, tbh for UK, USA.
i hate you for teaching me maths as i do with every math teacher but i love you bec you made this look easy and not hard at all and i understood the full topic in about 15 min which a real teacher in real life couldnt do in 3 days 2hours a day classes about functions and for that and that only i will not hate u as much as the other maths teachers BUT It still means i hate u just not as much
There is an easier to solve the last problem: fg(x) = 6x + 7 f(x) = 2x +3 in f(x) the x in f(x) is g(x), therefore: fg(x) = 2*g(x) + 3 given fg(x) = fg(x) 2*g(x) + 3 = 6x + 7 g(x) = 3x + 2 there you go.
This was way better than the online class I had today

Thank you. Thank you so much. You explained it the simplest way possible
Thank you so much for these videos!! They’re so helpful
Wow, I wish all online teaching was this fine Thank you so much for all you have done for us.

Do not use the symbolism fg(x) but the right is f(g(x)). We must avoid confusion with multiplication.

f (x)=ax+b
g (x)=3x-2
gof (x)=g ^-1 (x)
a+b=?

Very helpful
Thanx man
There is an easier to solve the last problem:
fg(x) = 6x + 7
f(x) = 2x +3
in f(x) the x in f(x) is g(x), therefore:
fg(x) = 2*g(x) + 3
given fg(x) = fg(x)
2*g(x) + 3 = 6x + 7
g(x) = 3x + 2
there you go.
thanks
For the inverse function, how did you get f-1(x) = x+4/2, shouldn't it be f-1(x) = y+4/2?
