24 Lancelot where did he say "I thought we were up?" I think people just assumed that because of his expression. I could have sworn he said I thought we were going to call timeout. Meaning Tyron Lue didn't alert the refs that he wanted a timeout on the rebound, and instead wanted a play-on. JR misinterpreted what was told to him, probably because of quick and poor wording.
It was right when time expired, Lebron looked at him like "WTH", he looked at the scoreboard, then mouthed, "I thought we were up". It's been exhausted on radio/TV.
24 Lancelot actually it wasn't. I have the game recorded. JR had done it in the past on the Knicks was why the media reported that he thought he was up, that'swhere the original quote is from. As far as on the TV game there was no confirmation he said that. Turns out he said he knew it was tied in the press conference, as he said he thought they were going to call a timeout. Technically that doesn't make him that stupid. That makes Tyron Lue to blame and it means there probably wasn't proper communication beforehand.

Kyle Korver 4th all time great shooter, Kevin Love a top shooter and rebounder all-time great, TT is one of the best rebounders in the NBA but gets his rebounds stolen by Lebron just like Westbrook steals his teammates. TT could average 14 a game. JR is streaky but when he's hit he's hotter than anyone in the NBA, he however is kinda dumb at times lol btw why is it everyone on the Cavs who has been on other teams was more productive? It's because of the system they were a part of. Calling these guys bums but look at the rest of the east in comparison. The Raptors have who? Derozan, Lowry, Valacunis? That ain't even a comparable matchup to the Cavs, the celtics this year fine maybe but the last few years hell no IT and Horford can't compete with that. Bucks Giannis and Bledsoe? Nope. Heat Whiteside, old man Wade, Dragic? Nope. Pacers had who on offense? Only Oladipo, their defense was what kept them in but Cavs offense is too potent to lose to that team. I've called the whole playoffs except that I had Rockets winning barring injury to Harden or CP3 which I was right on that too. 76ers Embiid, Ben Simmons? Hell no Ben can't even make a shot away from the basket. Wizards Beal, Wall, Oubre? Nope. I shouldn't even have to go through the rest of the East. The Cavs teammates are better, they just their system does them little to no justice for their contributions stat wise because if 1 player has the ball majority of the time then how are the others going to do much? They can't. All you guys do is quote the media and rattle of stats without observing 'how' it happened. When you run an offense like that by yourself you're going to get crazy numbers no matter what top player it is. We saw it from Westbrook last year who had worse teammates by far, and Harden, Giannis, etc. Westbrook had 1 offensive producer from distance who was also streaky, but he had some of the best rebounders, too bad that's all they were. Then people forget Lebron's teammates in 07 weren't bums or trash at all, they were efficient af and top defenders, sure their offense wasn't exactly top tier but they were defensive players with efficient shooting. Damon Jones was top 5 in 3 point shooting that year and was like 45% from the field along with making over 200 3's that season and tied for 9th all-time (guess whose territory he's in for shooting btw, pretty sure you know the names), Ilgauskas was one of the league leading rebounders, multiple all-defense including Daniel Gibson, had 1 player forgot his name averaging like 20+ ppg with Lebron, and others chipping in 15ppg, etc. Those dudes weren't bums or trash at all. People hype stuff because that's all they hear. I blame it on people not knowing how to watch games. Break down the plays and see how things ended up the way they ended up. Do actually comparisons, not just points, rebounds, blocks, and assists comparisons, and media hype talk.

I have never been a LeBron James fan. As time goes on and I see and really have begun to appreciate and respect what LeBron can do and continues to do time and time again, impressive to say the least. He literally had one of the best games ever in a finals. When you look at it now he ain't playing teams with injuries or young inexperienced teams whatever excuses anyone wants to say about him in getting back to the finals this year. Now he is up against Golden State, a super team where to me none of these games should really even be a contest. G.S. at home against this Cavs team should be a blow out, but then there's LeBron who single handedly almost beat this mighty machine of possibly the greatest team ever assembled. What more could the man do? For crying out loud he had the game won and then the refs reversing a clear call against him is just sad. Talk about robbery! I guess LeBron is going to have to score 100 points a game and even then with the refs against him even that might not be enough. That loss and who will ever forget J.R.'s fuck up, ain't no other way to put it. Missed free throw, Smith gets the offensive rebound, easy lay up and that probably would have been game, everyone would have forgot the outrageous call reversal and the talk would be today on one of the best finals performances ever.
